Oversized Split Lock Washers
Compared to standard split lock washers, these are thicker and have larger outside diameters. As a screw is tightened, they flatten to add tension to the joint and prevent loosening from small amounts of vibration.
18-8 stainless steel washers have good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic.
Steel washers are known for their strength. They're zinc yellow-chromate plated for corrosion resistance in wet environments.
Washers that meet ASME B18.21.1 adhere to strict dimensional standards. Steel washers also meet standards for material properties.
