Transfer measurements and draw large, precise circles. These compasses have expandable point-holding clamps, also known as trammels, that securely grip the flat top of the beam. Adjust the scribing points with the knurled grip on the clamps. One clamp has a screw for making fine adjustments to ensure accuracy when marking and measuring.
