    Flame-Retardant Expandable Wire Sleeving

    Tested to meet MIL-STD-202, this sleeving meets performance standards for flame retardance. It’s flame rated VW-1 to meet requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material. It also meets ASTM E595, a standard used by NASA, which means it produces almost no volatile emissions that could damage sensitive electronics, even in a high vacuum. Made of polyester, it resists some wear and chemicals, so it’s best used in indoor environments. It’s expandable, so it stretches to fit over items for easy installation, then tightens around its contents for a secure fit. The braided construction permits heat and moisture to dissipate.

    Flame-Retardant Hook-and-Loop Wraparound Wire Sleeving

    Flame rated VW-1, you can safely use this sleeving on wiring in multi-level facilities as well as in industrial machinery and vehicles. It also meets military standards for flame retardance. A hook and loop strip along its length makes it easy to wrap around and access installed components. Since this sleeving is braided, heat and moisture have space to escape.
    Cut this sleeving to length with a hot-blade knife.
