Mandrel-Collecting Air-Powered Tools for Blind Rivets

Designed for durability, these tools can handle the demands of high-volume production and assembly. They use compressed air to create a vacuum that securely holds the rivet in the tool before installation and ejects the mandrel out of the tool after. A collection bottle catches spent mandrels. Tools have changeable nosepieces—use the nosepiece that matches your rivet's diameter. The higher the pull capacity, the larger the rivet diameter the tool can install. To install a rivet, insert the mandrel into the nosepiece of the tool. Place the rivet in the material and pull the trigger. The tool pulls the mandrel through the rivet's body, creating a secure hold on both sides of the material, and breaks off the excess mandrel.

1,400-lb. pull capacity tool requires a 5/64" nosepiece and a 5/64" jaw (both sold separately) to install 5/64" dia. blind rivets. A 5/32" nosepiece (sold separately) is required to install 5/32" dia. blind rivets.

2,000-lb. pull capacity tool requires a 3/16" nosepiece (sold separately) to install 3/16" dia. blind rivets.

3,820-lb. pull capacity tool requires a 5/32" nosepiece, a 5/32" jaw, and a 5/32" jaw pusher (all sold separately) to install 5/32" dia. blind rivets.
