About External and Internal Grip Pullers

Expanding-Collar Internal Grip Puller Sets

Get a grip on objects with blind holes—this puller set has a variety of expanding collets that secure bearings and bushings from inside.

Use the pin and pin adapter to expand the collet inside the object you’re pulling. When the collet is secure, use the bridge with the forcing screw and nut to apply force to the object you’re removing. When you need additional force to extract hard-to-remove objects, use the bridge with the slide hammer. Forcefully slide the weight to the top of the slide bar to yank hard on the object you’re pulling.

Expanding-Collar Internal Grip Pullers

Get a grip on objects with blind holes—these pullers have an expanding collet that secures bearings and bushings from inside.

Pin and pin adapter are required to expand the collet inside the object you’re pulling. When the collet is secure, use a bridge with a forcing screw and forcing screw nut to apply force to the object you’re removing (all sold separately). When you need additional force, use the bridge with the slide hammer (sold separately).

Internal Grip Pullers

Also known as a pilot bearing puller, use this puller to grip the interior edge of press-fit bearings, oil seals, and bushings. It has a slide hammer that provides force to extract hard-to-remove objects. Choose from the optional jaws (sold separately) to increase the for ID size and reach of your puller. Reversible Jaw External/Internal Grip Pullers

Grip objects on the outside or inside to tackle both types of pulling jobs. To grip objects on the outside, attach puller jaws with tips facing in. To grip objects from inside, attach the puller jaws with tips facing out.

Puller has combination 2/3 jaws—it comes with a jaw bar so you can change between 2-jaw and 3-jaw configurations to suit your application. Use the slide hammer to extract hard-to-remove objects.

Optional crossbar allows you to pull objects that have tapped holes. Thread the center hole onto the slide hammer; requires two 3/8" dia. cap screws (not included).

Replacement jaw bar converts the 3-jaw puller to a 2-jaw puller.

Quick-Hold Reversible Jaw External/Internal Grip Pullers

Self-locking jaws hold these pullers in place for quick one-hand operation. Spring tension holds the jaws against the object being pulled, so you can tighten the locking nut.

To grip objects on the outside, attach the jaws with tips facing in. To grip objects from inside, attach the jaws with tips facing out. Puller base lifts up so you can add or remove jaws to create 2-jaw or 3-jaw configurations.
