Wheel Handle—Wheel handles open and close with multiple turns, providing more controlled, shock-resistant flow than lever handles.
Rising Stem—Rising stems lift as the valve opens and lower as the valve closes to provide a visual indication of whether flow is on or off. The stem is isolated from the process media for a longer service life than valves with a nonrising stem.
Flow Coefficient (Cv)—Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

    Socket-Connect Flow-Adjustment Valves

Insert unthreaded pipe into the socket ends and weld to create a permanent, leak-tight connection. These valves gradually open and close with multiple turns of the wheel handle to adjust and regulate flow. They have a rising stem that lifts as the valve opens and lowers as the valve closes to provide a visual indication of whether flow is on or off. Body is 316 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance.

    Drain Valves for Thick Liquids

Image of Product. Bottom orientation. Drain Valves. Drain Valves for Thick Liquids.
Empty mud, sludge, and water from tanks, reservoirs, and basins. First designed for use on settling tanks in water treatment plants, these stainless steel drain valves won't corrode from washdowns and long-term exposure to waste. They install flush with the bottom of large vessels. Lift them up for drainage using a valve wrench or position indicator.

    Air-Driven Flow-Adjustment Valves

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Flow-Adjustment Valves. Air-Driven Flow-Adjustment Valves.
For faster actuation than motor-driven valves, these operate on compressed air. Integrate them into PLC systems for automatic control over the valve position based on system conditions. The actuator has a built-in electric pilot valve that controls the air supply to the valve. Set how much to open the valve using the programmable controller on the actuator. They can accept both 4-20 mA current and 0-10 DC voltage. Valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop for operation.
All have a single-acting actuator that only requires air pressure to open the valve; it automatically springs closed when the air turns off. Valves are fail closed unless actuated. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear. Valve body is stainless steel for good corrosion resistance. All meet NEMA 4X, IP65, and IP67 for resistance to washdowns, splashing water, corrosive liquid, and dust.
Flow Coefficient (Cv)—Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Threaded Flow-Adjustment Valves for Cryogenic Liquid

Designed to withstand the extreme cold of liquid argon, liquid carbon dioxide, and liquid nitrogen, these valves are cleaned and bagged to meet CGA G-4.1 standards for oxygen service. They gradually open and close with multiple turns of the wheel handle to adjust and regulate flow. All have a rising stem that lifts as the valve opens and lowers as the valve closes to provide a visual indication of whether flow is on or off.
