An electrostatic charging ring in these backpack sprayers gives spraying liquids a positive charge, so that disinfectant or insecticide will cling to surfaces for an even coating. They’re often used to coat oddly shaped equipment and spray hard-to-reach areas that might be missed by conventional sprayers. Sprayers run off a rechargeable battery, saving you the effort of hand-pump sprayers and the inconvenience of plugging into outlets. The spray nozzle has an adjustable droplet size; larger droplets mean a thicker coating of mist. The backpack straps are padded for comfort, and a handle lets you also carry them by hand.

All sprayers are ETL marked as meeting American performance and safety standards for electrical products. They are not for use with oil-based or flammable liquids. To operate them safely, wear electrical-protection gloves or use a grounding braid (sold separately). Energy efficiency requirements restrict sales of these sprayers to California and Canada.
