Tool Lanyards

These lanyards meet ANSI/ISEA 121 for design and performance to ensure safety when working at height. To properly tether your tool, you’ll need an attachment point on your tool and an anchor point for your lanyard.

Lanyards for hand tools are the standard option—they can be used on most tools in your toolbox.

Straight Lanyard—Straight lanyards have elastic in the webbing that stretches a little as you use your tool for ease of movement.

Coil Lanyard—Coil lanyards stretch to their full length and then return to their retracted length when you let go to prevent snags and tangles.

Wire Rope—Wire rope lanyards are more abrasion resistant than webbing lanyards. A rubber coating protects the stainless steel wire rope from corrosion.

Detachable-Elastic-Loop Connection—Lanyards with a detachable elastic loop let you swap out tools while leaving the anchor and lanyard setup in place.

Tape-on attachments work for almost any tool. Use them on screwdrivers, pliers, and other hand tools. Loop the webbing with a D-ring around your tool, cinch it tight, and secure with tape (sold separately). The flexible tape molds to surfaces of different shapes and sizes.

Wraparound—Wraparound anchor points attach to rated structures such as railings and scaffolding. They support heavy tools without weighing you down.
