    Noncontact Liquid-Level Transmitters

Use these transmitters to measure the levels of corrosive, dirty, or sticky liquids without coming into contact with them. They’ll continuously send measurements, so you can monitor status and manage components in your system. Mount at the top of your tank. There should be no tank walls, agitators, or other objects in the path of the transmitter.

    Transmitter

Ultrasonic transmitters use high-frequency sound waves and are often used to measure water, wastewater, chemicals, and oil but won’t work on vapors, foam, and other media that’s difficult to measure. The included fob allows you to connect your transmitter to your computer, where you'll download software that guides you through the setup process to make sure you get accurate readings.
Digital Switch Output—Transmitters with a switch can also signal your controller to turn components on or off when they reach a set level.
NEMA 6P Enclosure Rating—NEMA 6P rated transmitters protect against dust, weather, washdowns, corrosion, and submersion. IP68 rated transmitters seal out dust and water from temporary submersion.

    Ultrasonic Transmitters

Measure the distance to objects and the level of liquids and materials despite size, shape, or surface finish, and send that information to other parts of your system. Unlike photoelectric switches, which use light to detect objects, these transmitters emit high-frequency sound waves that target small spots, so the surface and structure of your object won’t affect results. This makes them great for materials with uneven surfaces, such as granules and powder. They also sense objects in dirty and wet places, but they don’t work well where there’s wind, since it could disrupt their sound waves. Use their plug to quickly connect and disconnect to cables with a socket (sold separately). UL listed, C-UL listed, and CE marked, they meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
All transmitters have an analog output, which means they continuously send measurements to monitor status and manage components in your system.
Rated IP67, all of these transmitters seal out dust and water if briefly submersed.

    Ultrasonic Switches

Detect objects and liquid or material levels to set off actions in your system—regardless of size, shape, or surface finish. These switches send out high-frequency sound waves that target small areas, so the surface and structure of your object won't affect results like photoelectric sensors, which sense using light. This makes them great for materials with uneven surfaces, such as granules and powder. They also sense objects when obscured by smoke, dust, debris, or water, but they don't work as well where there's wind, since it could disrupt their sound waves. Once an object is detected or a set level is reached, the digital output sends a signal to your controller to turn components in your system on or off. Use their plug to quickly connect and disconnect to cables with a socket (sold separately). UL listed, C-UL listed, and CE marked, all meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
Rated IP67, all of these switches seal out dust and water if briefly submersed.

2 Outputs—Switches with two outputs let you set a minimum level on one output and a maximum on the other—for example, you can keep liquid levels constant by turning on a pump when the level drops too low and turning off the pump when it reaches the maximum.
IO-Link Communication Protocol—Switches with IO Link connect to a programmable logic controller (PLC), so you can change settings and receive error messages remotely. You need an IO-Link controller (not included) to connect.

    Wall-Mount Motion-Sensing Light Controls

Also known as occupancy sensors, these controls turn lights on when movement is detected and off when an area is empty. They fit standard wall plates. All have a manual time delay that will turn lights off after a set amount of inactivity.
Controls with infrared sensors detect changes in heat and require a direct view of the occupants. Controls with infrared/ultrasonic sensors detect changes in heat as well as motion to minimize false activations. You can set them to use one or both detection methods to activate and keep lights on.

    Smart Ceiling-Mount Motion-Sensing Light Controls

Fine-tune motion-sensing light controls from your smartphone or tablet. Mounting on the ceiling gives these light controls a clearer view of the room than wall-mount sensors, so they detect motion over a larger area. They connect to a free downloadable app using Bluetooth. Use the app to adjust the amount of time lights stay on after people leave, set schedules, or override the sensor so lights are always on. Also known as occupancy sensors, they turn lights on when they sense movement and off after people leave.
Controls with infrared sensors detect changes in heat sources and need a direct view of people.
Controls with infrared/ultrasonic sensors have two detection methods to minimize false activation: infrared to sense heat sources and ultrasonic to sense motion. Use the app to adjust whether both or just one of these triggers will switch the lights.
Dimmer Switch—Controls with a dimmer let you adjust the brightness of your lights.
