Low-Stretch Easy-Splice Rope—For Lifting

For more control over your load, this rope is a high-performance polyester also known as Vectran, which has excellent resistance to stretch and slip. A polyurethane coating increases its wear resistance, making it a good choice for high-friction applications. It's braided with a hollow core, so it's easier to splice than other rope for adding a fitting or connecting rope together. It does not rotate under load.
Note: The safety factor for capacity is 5:1. Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Long-Life Ultra-Wear-Resistant Rope—For Lifting

Made from a blend of high-performance polyester and polyethylene with a polyurethane coating, this rope has the greatest wear resistance of any rope we offer. It will stand up to high-friction applications, such as lifting heavy loads with a multiple pulley system. In addition to being long lasting, this rope also resists stretching and slipping. The polyester used for this rope is also known as Vectran; the polyethylene is comparable to Dyneema and Spectra. Braided with a hollow core, this rope is easier to splice than other rope when adding a fitting or connecting rope. It does not rotate under load.
Note: The safety factor for capacity is 5:1. Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Wear-Indicating Low-Stretch Rope—Not for Lifting

A red neoprene layer shows through the cover of this rope when it’s worn, indicating that it’s time to replace the rope. Made of polyester, this rope stretches minimally, so it is often used to tie items down. The cover also resists UV rays, rot, oil, and gas. A latex coating further protects against wear in high-friction applications. With a strand core, this rope bends freely. It will not rotate under load.
Note: The safety factor for capacity is 12:1.
