These Torx screws join wood to sheet metal by drilling, tapping, and fastening in one go. Their self-drilling tip clears the way while their threads tap into the material. With a deep six-lobe opening, the Torx drive handles more torque than slotted, Phillips, and hex drives. The flat head deters snags.
