Tamper-Resistant Button Head Hex Drive Screws

Our strongest hex-drive screws for deterring unauthorized access. Also known as pin-in-hex and pin-in-socket drives, these screws have a security pin in the drive that you can only turn with a tamper-resistant hex driver. The deep six-point opening helps them withstand torque without damaging the drive. Made of alloy steel, they have nearly twice the tensile strength of other screws. The button head looks similar to a pan head, but it's lower and more compact, taking up less space.

Length is measured from under the head.

Black-Oxide Alloy Steel—Typically chosen for their appearance, these screws have a dark, matte coating to create a finished look. They offer minimal corrosion resistance, so they're best for dry environments.
