Our lightest metal round head screws. One-third the weight of steel, these screws are a good choice for applications with weight limitations. Like stainless steel, the aluminum also resists rust, but it's not as strong. The round head has a domed profile that gives a smooth, decorative look to brackets and architectural features. With only two contact points, the slotted drive can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them.
