About Light Appearance

No need for wiring—these lights plug-in with a three-prong plug. Use these fixtures to illuminate outdoor areas such as building grounds and entrance signs with a narrow beam of directed light. Heads adjust to any angle to direct light where needed. Lights work with LED, CFL, halogen, and incandescent bulbs (sold separately). They cannot be sold to California due to local energy efficiency requirements.

Motion-Sensing Security Lights

Heads adjust to any angle to direct light where needed. These lights automatically turn on when the sensor detects motion. Lights turn off when an area is unoccupied.

Lights with built-in LEDs last longer, are more efficient, and generate less heat than other technologies.

Articulating-Arm Dock Lights

These lights swing out from the wall to illuminate loading docks and trailers. They have a steel arm, plastic lens, and switch. All have a cord with three-prong plug and operate on 120 volts AC. Lights have four mounting holes (hardware not included, except Style E includes hardware). All are yellow.

Styles A-D are compatible with medium-base CFL (compact fluorescent), halogen, and incandescent bulbs (sold separately). Some also work with LED bulbs. All have a zinc-plated steel guard to protect the lens.

Lights cannot be sold to the listed areas due to energy efficiency requirements.

Often used in recessed can fixtures and track lighting, these bulbs produce a focused beam of light. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. Bulbs with a warm light appearance have yellow tones. Bulbs with a neutral light appearance are commonly used in workspaces. Bulbs with a cool light appearance have white/blue tones and are good for inspecting. A bulb’s estimated yearly energy cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.

PAR bulbs have narrow beam angles that provide more focused beams of light than other floodlights. A short length allows them to fit in small can fixtures without protruding.

LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than other technologies. They generate little heat and withstand vibration. Plastic LED bulbs are shatterproof. Bulbs that cannot be sold to the listed regions do not meet mercury and/or energy efficiency regulations.
