More
Protect the health of nearby workers and maintain ideal operating conditions for your 3D printer. To keep your workspace's air clean, these enclosures filter harmful fumes, VOCs, and ultrafine particles that are common when working with filaments such as ABS and nylon. The enclosure's door is sealed with silicone rubber to keep fumes inside the enclosure.
Control Your Printing Environment
Because printing conditions that are too cold make weak parts, these enclosures retain the heat created by the printer. The warmth gives the printed layers time to strengthen and bond before cooling. Set the thermal overload protection, and you won't have to worry about the enclosure overheating. If the enclosure gets too warm, a sensor cuts power to the printer to avoid failed prints and dangerous conditions. It's also known as a thermal runaway cutoff.
Manage the enclosure's various settings—filter status, temperature shutoff, fan speed, lights, and WiFi—from the enclosure's touchscreen. The screen also displays the moisture level inside the enclosure. Add a dehumidifier cartridge (sold separately) or other desiccant to keep your filament dry, strong, and flexible. Dehumidifier cartridges have rechargeable desiccant beads. When the desiccant beads change from orange to green, heat them in the microwave to recharge.
Connect To Your Computer
Connect the printer to a computer using the through-wall USB port, and the enclosure stays sealed. The printer connects to the port on one side of the wall, and the computer connects on the other. A similar port connects your printer's power cord. Safely check on the progress of your prints from your computer using the video camera.
Protect Your Printer and Prints
Lightweight and strong, these enclosures have an aluminum frame, honeycomb floor, and clear, impact-resistant windows. A lock on the door prevents unwanted users from accessing your printer and work.
Specifications Met
Made to high domestic and international safety standards, these enclosures are UL certified and CE marked. The filter system meets UL 94 V-0 for flame resistance.

Pair these hoods with an exhaust system to contain harmful fumes, vapors, and gasses while venting them away from work spaces—they protect users from inhaling or coming in contact with them. To access the enclosed space, these hoods have an adjustable sliding window or cutout, which also lets your exhaust system pull air from the outside. Polycarbonate windows are more durable than acrylic windows. All of these hoods resist chemicals and corrosion.
Polyethylene hoods have a molded one-piece construction with rounded inside corners to prevent gaps and crevices, making them easy to wipe clean. Those with a fixed observation window are good for demonstrations and when working in groups because they let others view contents and processes from the other side. The observation window is made of polycarbonate to withstand dents and scratches.
Polypropylene hoods are nonconductive. They’re also translucent, so they let in more light than the polyethylene hoods for added visibility.
Polycarbonate hoods are dent and scratch resistant. They’re also clear, offering an unobstructed view from all sides.

Filtering away dust and particles, these hoods create a clean space for demanding work, such as bioprocessing, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and optics. They have a HEPA H14 filter to catch 99.995% of particles down to 0.1 microns, as well as a pre-filter to pull out large particles before they reach the HEPA filter. To draw air from outside the hood into the filters, they have a fan; there’s no need to connect them to ductwork. A flow monitor tracks the airflow and alerts you with a visible and audible alarm if the fan fails. They meet Class 100 (Fed. Std.) and Class 5 (ISO) clean room requirements.
As an alternative to filtering the air of an entire room, these hoods leave a large enough opening for comfortable access inside and have internal fluorescent lighting to help you see your work. Their work surface is 304L stainless steel, which resists bacteria and chemicals, and also is easy to clean. Mount them on workbenches and carts that are designed to hold them, or place them on your own bench top.
