Floor-Mount Fume Exhausters

Remove fumes, vapors, and fine dust particles from your space. These exhausters are commonly used in welding, soldering, and other operations that create fumes.
Note: Airflow depends on the resistance created by ductwork. This resistance, known as static pressure (SP), is measured in inches of water.
Totally enclosed exhausters have an external fan for cooling. These exhausters offer more protection than open dripproof exhausters. They can be used in dirty, dusty, and damp environments, but are not airtight.
Single-duct kits (sold separately) maximize airflow at one fume collection point. They include a hose, a nozzle, and two clamps.
Dual-duct kits (sold separately) create two points for fume collection, although each will have lower airflow than the one collection point of a single-duct kit. These kits include two hoses, two nozzles, four clamps, and a wye connector.

Portable Fume Exhausters

In addition to using the handle to carry these exhausters, you can mount them to a wall, bench, or floor. They remove fumes, vapors, and fine dust particles from your space. They are commonly used in welding, soldering, and other operations that create fumes. All have a totally enclosed motor enclosure, which can be used in dirty, dusty, and damp environments. They have a flexible hose with nozzle to capture fumes at the source and rubber pads on the base to reduce vibration.
Note: Airflow depends on the resistance created by ductwork. This resistance, known as static pressure (SP), is measured in inches of water.
Single-duct kits (sold separately) include a hose, a nozzle, and two clamps to replace existing components.
Double-duct kits (sold separately) create two points for fume collection, although each will have lower airflow than the one collection point of a single-duct kit. These kits include two hoses, two nozzles, four clamps, and a wye connector.

Fume Hoods

Pair these hoods with an exhaust system to contain harmful fumes, vapors, and gasses while venting them away from work spaces—they protect users from inhaling or coming in contact with them. To access the enclosed space, these hoods have an adjustable sliding window, which also lets your exhaust system pull air from the outside. Polycarbonate windows are more durable than acrylic windows. All of these hoods resist chemicals and corrosion.
Polyethylene hoods have a molded one-piece construction with rounded inside corners to prevent gaps and crevices, making them easy to wipe clean.
Polypropylene hoods are nonconductive. They’re also translucent, so they let in more light than polyethylene hoods for added visibility.
Polycarbonate hoods are dent and scratch resistant. They’re also clear, offering an unobstructed view from all sides.

Bench-Top Air Cleaner Hoods
Filtering away dust and particles, these hoods create a clean space for demanding work, such as bioprocessing, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and optics. They have a HEPA H14 filter to catch 99.995% of particles down to 0.1 microns, as well as a pre-filter to pull out large particles before they reach the HEPA filter. To draw air from outside the hood into the filters, they have a fan; there’s no need to connect them to ductwork. A flow monitor tracks the airflow and alerts you with a visible and audible alarm if the fan fails. They meet Fed. Std. Class 100 and ISO Class 5 clean room requirements.
As an alternative to filtering the air of an entire room, these hoods leave a large enough opening for comfortable access inside and have internal fluorescent lighting to help you see your work. Their work surface is 304L stainless steel, which resists bacteria and chemicals, and also is easy to clean. Mount them on workbenches and carts that are designed to hold them, or place them on your own bench top.
These hoods cannot be sold to California.
