These sheets and bars are precision ground either on all six sides or just on the top and bottom. The most widely used aluminum, 6061 is fabricated into everything from pipe fittings and containers to automotive and aerospace parts. It is strong and corrosion resistant, plus it's easy to machine and weld.
Sheets and bars that are precision ground on all sides are consistently flat, square, and parallel on all six sides. They’re also known as blanks and are ready for use in your CNC machine.
