Multipurpose 6061 Aluminum Sheets and Bars

The most widely used aluminum, 6061 is fabricated into everything from pipe fittings and containers to automotive and aerospace parts. It is strong and corrosion resistant, plus it's easy to machine and weld.
Cold-rolled foil and sheets are cut from large pieces to the widths and lengths listed, so the edges may not be parallel.
Aluminum that meets ASTM B209 or ASTM B221 complies with standards for materials.
Aluminum that meets an SAE AMS standard conforms to the material and process needs of the aerospace industry.

High-Strength 2024 Aluminum Sheets and Bars

While 2024 aluminum was initially designed for structural components in aircraft, it's now widely used when a high strength-to-weight ratio is needed, such as for gears, shafts, and fasteners. It offers similar performance to 7075 aluminum, but it’s not as strong.
Cold-rolled sheets are cut from large pieces to the widths and lengths listed, so the edges may not be parallel.

High-Strength 7075 Aluminum Sheets and Bars

Originally developed for aircraft frames, uses for 7075 aluminum now include keys, gears, and other high-stress parts. It is often used as a replacement for 2024 aluminum because it’s stronger and provides similar performance in all other aspects.
Hot- and cold-rolled sheets are cut from large pieces to the widths and lengths listed, so the edges may not be parallel.

EMI/RFI Shielding Gaskets
These gaskets absorb electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to prevent inaccurate signals, flickering displays, and other electrical problems. They compress to fill gaps and complete a grounding path around doors and access panels.
Sheets work well between two flat surfaces.
Polyurethane foam gaskets are covered with a conductive nickel/copper braided fabric. A nonconductive adhesive holds them in place. To protect sensitive equipment, they block at least twice as much interference as urethane foam gaskets. They meet UL 94 V-0, so they self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread the fire by dripping. Cut these gaskets to length with scissors.

Low-Voltage Cable

- Use For: Appliances, Vehicles
- Flexible
- Temperature Range: -40° to 175° F
- Insulation: PVC Plastic
Also known as GPT cable, this cable is often used in low-voltage applications such as battery and vehicle wiring and radios. It has one red wire and one black wire to easily identify polarity. The wires can be pulled apart for installation.
Direct-Burial Cable
- Use For: Buildings, Outdoors
- Flexible
- Temperature Range: 0° to 140° F
Weather-resistant insulation makes this cable suitable for outdoor use and direct burial without conduit.
16-, 14-, and 12-gauge wire is designed for underground, low-voltage lighting equipment, such as landscape lighting. The wires can be separated for installation.
Building Cable
- Use For:
NM-B, THHN: Buildings
UF-B, THHN: Buildings, Outdoors - Bend and Stay
- Temperature Range: 10° to 190° F
- Insulation: PVC Plastic
Rated for in-wall installation, this cable carries power to wall outlets. Also known as branch circuit wire, it can be used without conduit. It has solid THHN building wires, so the cable will stay in the shape you bend it. The uninsulated ground wire is not counted in the number of wires.
NM-B cable is for dry locations where moisture is not a concern, and often run through walls, ceilings, and concrete blocks.
