Find a chain style and capacity that's up to any task, from hanging a 5 lb. light fixture to rigging a 17 ton generator.

Extra Heavy Duty Chain for Lifting

Image of Product. Front orientation. Chain. Extra Heavy Duty Chain for Lifting.
Lift, hoist, and rig heavy equipment, vehicles, containers, and more with the strongest chain we offer. This chain is graded by weight capacity, so you can pick the best option whether you're hauling a bulldozer or unloading cargo from a ship. Look for the manufacturer's stamp on each link to confirm the grade.
When using fittings with chain, match the trade size and meet or exceed the chain’s grade to avoid chain damage or failure.
Warning: Never use chain to lift people or items over people.
Grade 80 Chain—Your go-to option for most lifting jobs. Rig and lift industrial vehicles, heavy machinery, and shipping containers with this chain.
Grade 100 Chain—For exceptionally heavy lifting jobs. It's approximately 25% stronger than Grade 80 chain to handle larger loads and continuous lifting tasks in settings such as construction and mining.
Grade 120 Chain—The strongest chain in the industry at approximately 20% stronger than Grade 100 chain. The uniquely-shaped links increase the chain's capacity and minimize wear, so you can use a smaller size than Grade 80 or 100 chain to lift the same amount of weight.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause this chain to rust.
Black Painted Steel—Best for dry environments as paint may chip and corrode over time.
Zinc-Plated Steel—A common and economical choice, the zinc plating resists occasional moisture.
Black Zinc-Plated Steel—A common and economical choice, the zinc plating resists occasional moisture.
Powder-Coated Steel—Powder coating steel gives it a colored finish and a strong barrier against moisture and mild chemicals.
