Hold rope more securely than nonlocking and slide-locking-latch carabiners. While these carabiners are not as secure as screw-locking-latch carabiners, they are easier to open.
Pull Down/Twist 90°/Push In and Lift Up/Twist 90°/Push In—Pull down/twist 90°/push in and lift up/twist 90°/push in carabiners are more secure than twist 90°/push in because they require an extra step to open.
Zinc-Plated Steel—Zinc-plated steel carabiners are mildly corrosion resistant.
Anodized Aluminum—Anodized aluminum carabiners offer excellent corrosion resistance. They're also more lightweight than zinc-plated steel carabiners.
17-4 PH Stainless Steel and 420 Stainless Steel—Stainless steel carabiners have excellent resistance to salt water and chemicals.
Styles 3, 7, 8, 9, and 12—Styles 3 and 7-13 have either a removable eye pin or eyelet that secures rope to one end of the carabiner to prevent it from sliding or moving.
Offset Open Latch Position—Carabiners with an offset latch position open to the side, giving you more space to attach large items.
With Locking Indicator—Carabiners with a locking indicator have a symbol that is shown when the carabiner is fully locked.
ANSI/ASSP Z359.12—Carabiners that meet ANSI/ASSP Z359.12 have been tested for use in fall protection systems.

A lanyard and an anchor in one—these lanyards attach to rated structures to give you a secure place to clip in for fall protection. If you fall when working at height, these lanyards extend to slow and stop your fall. However, you'll fall farther than you would with a quick-stop lanyard. When used together with a harness and anchor, these lanyards help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
Hook-Over Anchor Point—Hook-over lanyards have a large snap hook, known as a rebar hook, that attaches directly to a rated structure such as a scaffold or pipe to create an anchor point.
Wraparound Anchor Point—Wraparound lanyards loop around a rated structure such as an I-beam and then attach to themselves to create an anchor point.
1 Anchor End Connection—Lanyards with 1 anchor end connection are for working in a single location.
2 Anchor End Connections—Lanyards with 2 anchor end connections let you move between anchors while staying tethered. Attach to the new anchor point before disconnecting from the previous one.
Webbing—Webbing lanyards are flexible and lightweight, so they won't weigh you down.
Wire Rope—Wire rope lanyards are more abrasion resistant than webbing lanyards, so they withstand sharp edges without fraying or snapping. They have a bright green plastic coating to make damage obvious during inspections.
Impact-Indicating Stitching—Lanyards with impact-indicating stitching have patches designed to tear during a fall or impact, so it’s easy to tell if a lanyard is still safe to use.
RFID Tag—Lanyards with an RFID tag can be scanned to log inspections, track usage, and schedule maintenance to keep your lanyard compliant with safety regulations.

Add length to your harness D-ring and make it easier to attach a fall-arrest lanyard.
Snap-Hook Connection—Snap hooks are easy to clip to your existing D-ring.
Wire Rope—Wire rope straps resist cuts and abrasion better than webbing straps, so they last longer.
Impact-Indicating Stitching—Straps with impact-indicating stitching let you know at a glance if the strap has been weakened in a fall. The stitching pops or tears during an impact.

Clip these lanyards onto a rated structure—they form their own anchor. They extend and retract as you move around, but with a sudden jerk, such as a fall, they immediately lock like a seat belt to stop you. They stop your fall within inches, unlike shock-absorbing lanyards that extend several feet. A built-in shock absorber reduces the jolt of the stop. Used together with a harness, they help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
Class 1—Use Class 1 lanyards when the anchor is at the same level as or above your D-ring.
Class 2—Class 2 lanyards are more versatile than Class 1 lanyards. Use them when the anchor is above, level with, or up to 5 ft. below your D-ring. Since they're made with Kevlar webbing or wire rope, they meet safety standards to prevent fraying or breaking if you fall near a sharp edge.
1 Anchor End Connection—Lanyards with 1 anchor end connection are best when you’re working in a single location.
2 Anchor End Connections—Lanyards with 2 anchor end connections let you move between anchors while staying tethered. Attach the new anchor point before disconnecting the previous one.
Webbing—Webbing lanyards are flexible and lightweight, so they won't weigh you down.
Wire Rope—Wire rope lanyards hold up to abrasion better than webbing lanyards for a longer lifespan.
Anchored Housing—Lanyards with an anchored housing are easier on your back than other retracting lanyards, since the weight of the housing hangs on the anchor rather than your harness’s D-ring.

Lower yourself to safety after a fall. These harnesses are designed for solo work or remote locations where rescue teams can't reach you. Attach a lanyard to the D-ring on the back, and if you fall, these harnesses will keep you upright. For a controlled descent to the ground, pull the tab on the shoulder to unfurl the 65 ft. rope. Padding on the back and shoulders makes these harnesses comfortable, even when worn for long periods. When used together with a lanyard and anchor, they help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.

Clip these lightweight packs onto your fall-arrest harness so you can lower yourself to safety after a fall. They have a D-ring where you can attach your fall-arrest lanyard and 50 ft. of rope coiled inside. If you’re left hanging after a fall, pull the red tab on the shoulder and the pack will gradually release the rope for a controlled descent to the ground. A complete fall-arrest system includes a lanyard, harness, and anchor. When used together with a fall-arrest system, these packs meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.

1 Anchor End Connection—Lanyards with 1 anchor end connection are best when you’re working in one location.
2 Anchor End Connections—Lanyards with 2 anchor end connections let you move between anchor points while staying safely tethered at all times. Attach to the new anchor point before disconnecting from the other anchor point.

    Descent Rescue Kits

Everything you need to rescue a person who is suspended after a fall, even if they're injured or unconscious. These kits come tucked in a storage bag, so you can spring into action at a moment’s notice. The storage bag repels water for protection from the weather.
These are not fall-arrest equipment. For a fall-arrest system, you’ll need a lanyard, harness, and anchor.
Descent Rescue—Use descent rescue kits to lower the suspended person to the ground. They include a pole that telescopes for extra reach with a carabiner holder and hook on the end. Use the pole to do a variety of things—install anchors, attach carabiners to a suspended person’s D-ring, or guide someone around obstacles as they descend. You can even use these kits to evacuate yourself from an elevated platform in emergencies such as a fallen ladder or a fire. The pockets on the backpack are labeled, so you’ll be able to find what you need quickly.

Made with a durable Kevlar webbing, these lanyards meet ASTM F887, so they're tested to hold up against arc flash hazards. They extend and retract as you move around, but with a sudden jerk, such as a fall, they immediately lock like a seat belt to stop you. They stop your fall within inches, unlike shock-absorbing lanyards that extend several feet. A built-in shock absorber reduces the jolt of the stop. When used together with a harness and anchor, these lanyards help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
Class 1—Use Class 1 lanyards when your anchor is at the same level as or above your D-ring.
Class 2—Class 2 lanyards are more versatile than Class 1 lanyards—use them when your anchor is above your D-ring, at the same level, or up to 5 ft. below. They meet safety standards to prevent fraying or breaking if you fall near a sharp edge.

If you fall when working at height, these lanyards extend to slow and stop your fall. However, you'll fall farther than you would with a quick-stop lanyard. When used together with a harness and anchor, these lanyards help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
Wire Rope—Wire rope lanyards are durable and resist abrasion, so they won’t fray or snap if you fall over a sharp edge.
