Use these fluids in heat exchangers and liquid chillers.
Ethylene glycol and propylene glycol fluids are for use in closed (nonvented) systems. Propylene glycol is safer to handle than ethylene glycol.

Often used to winterize cooling towers and other HVAC systems, these de-icers prevent water from freezing inside equipment and causing damage. They have corrosion inhibitors for long-lasting protection. After draining the system, pump in the de-icer to displace any residual water and prevent ice from forming. When you’re ready to use the system again, purge the de-icer to reclaim it for reuse the following winter.

Often used in freezers and cold-storage environments where other water-based cleaners would freeze, these cleaners remove dirt and grime in temperatures as low as -40° F. They also melt frost and ice as they clean. Unlike other low-temperature cleaners, they are free of flammable solvents, such as methanol. Use them with spray bottles, mops, and powered floor cleaners. After allowing the cleaning solution to soak, remove it with a cloth, sponge, mop, or wet/dry vacuum.
Note: Not for use on vinyl or rubber mats because the surface can become slippery.
