Pair these connectors with standard IEC power cords to bring power into or out of your electronic devices. Often used to convey power from wall outlets, there’s no need to wire your devices to an external power source. Instead, wire these connectors into your device with the terminals on the back of each connector. Most meet U.S. or international standards for safety.
Receptacles are often installed in electrical devices. Most also include shock protection. Class I shock protection means they're insulated and have a protective ground to prevent electrical shocks. Class II shock protection means there are two levels of insulation to prevent electrical shocks. Male receptacles are commonly used to bring power into an electronic device. Some accept a fuse to prevent short circuits and circuit overloads from damaging your devices. The fuses are sold separately. Female receptacles are frequently used to bring power out of one electronic device and into another. C13 receptacles are also known as Sheet F outlets. C19 receptacles are often called J outlets.
Screw-on connectors mount to devices with any panel thickness, as long as you can drill mounting holes into the device. Snap-in connectors mount to devices with snap-in tabs—no fasteners needed—but require a specific panel thickness and a precisely cut hole for secure mounting.
Solder terminal wire connections are more secure than screw and quick-disconnect terminal connections. Quick-disconnect terminal wire connections are faster to wire than screw and solder terminal connections. The terminals slide together with the quick-disconnect terminals on your wiring and are easily disconnected by hand, but still provide a strong hold.
IP-rated connectors meet standards for protecting you from making contact with a live circuit. The larger the first digit, the smaller the object it protects against. An IP20 rating means fingers and other objects larger than 12.5 mm can't get in. An IP30 rating means screwdrivers and other objects larger than 2.5 mm won't get in. And an IP40 rating means wire and other objects larger than 1 mm won't get in.
Connectors with a UL 94 rating have passed one of UL's flame tests. UL 94V0 means they self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread flames from dripping. UL 94V2 means they self-extinguish within 30 seconds if they catch fire, but may drip flaming particles.

Instead of hardwiring power supplies, appliances, and other electronic devices, these connectors let you plug in an IEC power cord and turn the power on and off without needing a separate switch. Wire these connectors using the quick-disconnect terminals; they slide together with matching terminals on your wiring for a secure hold that's also easy to pull apart to make repairs. The terminals are on the back of the connector, so the wiring stays inside your device.
Rated IP40, these connectors prevent objects larger than a 1 mm-wd. wire from touching internal components and accidentally shocking you. With Class I shock protection, they’re insulated and have a protective ground. Some have a fuse drawer to hold a fuse, which prevents short circuits and circuit overloads from damaging your device. The fuses are sold separately.
These connectors meet UL 94 V-0, which means they self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire, and won’t spread the fire by dripping. They’re also UL and C-UL recognized components, CE and ENEC marked, and CSA certified, so they meet stringent safety standards.
Screw-on connectors mount to housings of any thickness, as long as you can drill mounting holes into them. Snap-in connectors have tabs on the side to mount to housings without using fasteners. But, they require a specific panel thickness and precisely cut hole for secure mounting.

Screw-on connectors mount to devices with any panel thickness, as long as you can drill mounting holes into the device. Snap-in connectors mount to devices with snap-in tabs—no fasteners needed—but require a specific panel thickness and a precisely cut hole for secure mounting.
Solder terminal wire connections are more secure than quick-disconnect terminal connections. Quick-disconnect terminal wire connections are faster to wire than solder terminal connections. The terminals slide together with the quick-disconnect terminals on your wiring and are easily disconnected by hand, but still provide a strong hold.

IP rated for dusty and damp environments, these connectors bring power into electronic devices while protecting them from harmful electromagnetic interference (EMI). All are for use with standard IEC power cords. Commonly used to convey power from wall outlets, you won’t have to wire your devices to an external power source. Instead, wire these connectors into your device with the terminals on the back of each connector. If you exceed the maximum voltage or load, the connectors will shut down to protect both the power supply and the connected device. Maximum output noise is also known as ripple noise. When power supplies convert AC voltage to DC voltage, some noise from the AC voltage will carry into the output. While this noise won't affect most applications, it can interfere with other signals in extremely sensitive audio equipment and high-precision measuring and testing equipment. The lower the output noise, the less interference it creates.
Power factor and efficiency give you a sense for how efficiently these connectors draw AC power and convert it into DC power, which ultimately affects your operating cost. The closer the power factor is to 1, and the higher the efficiency percentage, the lower the operating cost. The more efficient the power supply, the cooler it runs.
