Aramid High-Temperature Sleeving

A blend of Aramid and fiberglass gives this sleeving excellent abrasion resistance, as well as resistance to acids and alkalies. It can withstand temperatures up to 650° F. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect.

High-Strength Sleeving

This sleeving has excellent tear resistance and better abrasion resistance than standard polyester sleeving. Made of Nomex fabric, it resists most acids and alkalies, alcohol, hydraulic fluid, oil, gasoline, salt water, and solvents. It won’t irritate skin like fiberglass, so it’s easier to handle. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect.

Continuous-Flex Wrap-Around Sleeving
Often used to protect wire, cable, and hose in robotics and other automated applications, this highly flexible sleeving withstands continuous motion without tearing or fraying. It can even be used over cable and hose carriers for an added layer of protection. This sleeving opens along its entire length, so there’s no need to disconnect lines or use tools for maintenance such as adding or removing cable.
Kevlar aramid sleeving resists temperatures up to 1000° F. Use it to protect wire near furnaces, in welding areas, and in other extremely hot environments. This sleeving has good abrasion resistance, a zipper closure for easy maintenance, and hook-and-loop straps on each end to hold sleeving in place.

Cut-Protection Sleeves

Use these sleeves alone or with gloves to protect your arms when handling sharp objects. All meet the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, which designates levels of cut resistance based on the force needed to cut through the material of the sleeve using a razor blade.
Kevlar aramid sleeves absorb moisture. Cut 13-yd. long sleeves to the length you need.
Use sleeves with knit cuffs for a secure fit.

Cut-Protection Gloves

These gloves meet the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, which designates levels of cut resistance based on the force needed to cut through the material of the glove using a razor blade. They are made from kevlar aramid, so they absorb moisture. Knit cuffs provide a secure fit.
Style C extend to the elbow to provide additional arm protection.
Heat-Protection Sleeves

Use these sleeves alone or with gloves to protect your arms from heat.
Kevlar aramid/fiberglass blend sleeves are abrasion resistant. Open cuffs are convenient to put on and take off. Fasten the wrist snap for a closer fit. Sleeves with an adjustable strap can be tightened around the upper arm to keep them in place.
Nomex aramid sleeves are breathable and cool down quickly after removal from a hot surface. They have knit cuffs for a secure fit.

Wear-Resistant Breathable Round Bellows with Flange Ends

Made of Kevlar, these are the most durable breathable round bellows with flange ends. They also protect against sparks and weld spatter. Slide these bellows over moving parts, such as rods and shafts. Sewn seams let them breathe, so they retract quickly in fast-cycling applications. The seams will allow small amounts of moisture and dust to pass through. Screw mount the flange ends to surfaces, or add a mounting flange (sold separately) for stability.

Protective Robot Covers
Shield your robot arm from dirt and damage with these covers. They’re designed to fit specific robot models, so they’re easy to install and remove—you don’t need to cut, sew, or customize them. Choose a cover that matches the manufacturer and model number of your arm.
For extreme temperature applications, use Kevlar covers. They have the largest temperature range of any cover material, so you can insulate your robot arm in freezers, near ovens and furnaces, and in welding applications. They have an insulation R-value of 0.07, which means they protect your arm from extreme temperature changes.
Climate-controlled covers fill with hot or cold air to keep your robot running within its recommended operating temperature range in extreme environments, such as freezers or furnaces. The air can limit a robot’s range of motion, so only use these covers if your robot will be working consistently in very hot or cold areas. These covers require heating and cooling units (sold separately), which connect to ports in the stainless steel base of the covers. The units have a built-in thermostat—adjust its set point, and the unit will run until it reaches that temperature.
