Highly Wear-Resistant Machinable Cast Nylon Round Tubes

The addition of MDS gives these tubes exceptional wear resistance along with a self-lubricating surface. They're made of cast nylon 6, making them easier to machine and better electrical insulators than other MDS-filled nylon tubes. Tubes can be used to fabricate pulleys, bushings, and bearings installed in hard-to-reach areas where adding a lubricant would be difficult. This material is comparable to Nylatron and Nycast.

Oversized Tolerance—Oversized tubes have an oversized OD and an undersized ID for finishing to the sizes listed.

Highly Wear-Resistant Machinable Cast Nylon Sheets

An MDS additive provides exceptional wear resistance as well as a self-lubricating surface. Made of cast nylon 6, they’re easier to machine than other MDS-filled nylon sheets. They’re also better electrical insulators. Use them to fabricate gears, sprockets, wear strips, and other high-friction parts. This material is comparable to Nylatron and Nycast.

Oil-Filled Cast Nylon Round Tubes

Impregnated with oil, these tubes remain slippery over time. Use them to fabricate pulleys, bushings, and bearings for use in hard-to-reach areas where adding a lubricant would be difficult. Because they are made of cast nylon 6, they are easier to machine than standard nylon rods, plus they’re better electrical insulators. This material is comparable to Nycast and Nyloil.
