Alligator Clips

Spring-loaded clips create a secure temporary electrical connection for hands-free testing.
Toothed clips have a stronger grip but make less overall contact than toothless clips.
304 stainless steel clips are corrosion resistant. Copper and silver clips conduct electricity better than 304 stainless steel clips.

High-Current Test Clips

Test equipment that draws more than 10 amps of current. These clips are spring loaded to hold tight for hands-free testing.
Toothed clips have a stronger grip but make less overall contact than toothless clips.
Test Lead Sets

Pairs of red and black test leads are ready to connect to a multimeter or other electrical test equipment.

Through-Panel-Mount Connectors
Before making a permanent connection, use these connectors to test a circuit. Also known as binding posts, they mount through panels to create a connection point.
All connectors are insulated to prevent contact with panels.
Tin-plated brass lasts the longest. Single banana jacks come with your choice of a red jack or a black jack. Double banana jacks come with one red jack and one black jack, and your choice of color for the mounting base.
Hand-held voltage ratings are the maximum tested voltage for applications where you hold a cord connected to the jack in your hands while testing. Hands-free voltage ratings are the maximum voltage the jack is rated to withstand.

Miniature Spring Clamps

Clamp thin materials and in tight spaces. Squeeze the handles to open the clamp; release and the spring holds it tightly in place. Clamps with a hole on the end can be secured to your workholder’s arm, so your hands are free for soldering, gluing, and assembling.
Style A clamps have alligator-grip jaws to hold material securely.
Stainless steel clamps resist high temperatures, so you can use them as a heat sink. These clamps are good for soldering because solder won’t stick to them.
Clamps with a plain grip have an all-metal construction that makes them good for holding parts while soldering. Style A and B clamps have a textured handle that helps you get a better grip.
