High Spot Blue Marking Paste

Identify high spots, interference points, and improper fit on bearings, gears, and valves. Apply this blue paste, also known as engineers’ blue, to parts or components and assemble them into working position. Any improper fit will show up as a blue streak. Paste cannot be sold to Canada because it exceeds local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Remove paste with Marking Fluid Remover.

Marking Fluids

Stain metal items such as bearings, springs, nuts, and other components. These fluids repel oil, adhere without flaking and scaling, and won’t interfere with part performance.
Opaque fluids conceal the color of the part.
Transparent fluids allow the color of the part to show through and are thinner and dry faster than opaque fluids.
Fluids that cannot be sold to Canada exceed local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
