    High Spot Blue Marking Paste

Image of Product. Front orientation. Marking Fluid. High Spot Blue Marking Paste.
Identify high spots, interference points, and improper fit on bearings, gears, and valves. Apply this blue paste, also known as engineers’ blue, to parts or components and assemble them into working position. Any improper fit will show up as a blue streak. Remove paste with Marking Fluid Remover.
Cannot Be Sold Outside United States—Paste cannot be sold outside the United States because it exceeds local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

PTFE provides a slippery surface that keeps threads from binding. These sealants never fully harden, remaining pliable enough to self-heal and stop leaks before they start, so they’re often used in high-vibration applications that could cause standard thread sealants to fail. Since they have low locking strength, these sealants can be adjusted without tools.
NSF/ANSI 61—Sealants that meet NSF/ANSI 61 adhere to safety standards for drinking water systems.

    Non-Hardening Thread Sealants

    Applicator-Top Can

Often used in high-vibration applications that could cause standard thread sealants to fail, these never fully harden and remain pliable enough to self-heal and stop leaks before they start. Formulated without PTFE, these sealants are less slippery and less likely to result in overtightenting than sealants that have PTFE, making them good for plastic pipe where overtightening could lead to cracks and breaks. They have low locking strength, so they can be adjusted without tools.
NSF/ANSI 61—To adhere to safety standards for drinking water systems, use sealants that meet NSF/ANSI 61.

    Ready-to-Use Silicone Rubber Potting Compounds

Image of Product. Front orientation. Potting Compounds. Ready-to-Use Silicone Rubber Potting Compounds, Cartridge.

    Cartridge

No mixing required—these potting compounds come ready to apply. Use them to encase electronic assemblies for protection from dust, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. Softer and more flexible than epoxies and urethanes with the widest temperature range, silicone rubber potting compounds are the best choice for high-temperature applications and electronics exposed to thermal cycling. They have good moisture resistance but poor chemical and abrasion resistance. Silicones provide excellent electrical insulation. They're also known as RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing) compounds because they don’t need heat or UV light to cure.

Epoxy adhesives are two-part adhesives that need to be mixed. The size listed is the combined total of the two parts.
Model Number 2151—Loctite® 2151 resist salts, mild acids, and oils. They can also handle sudden impacts and shocks.
ASTM E595—Adhesives that meet ASTM E595, a standard used by NASA, release almost no volatile emissions that could damage sensitive electronics, even in a vacuum.
