Hex-Head Gripper Screws

Make quick height adjustments by turning the threaded stud. Screw these grippers into place from above and clamp against them. The serrations penetrate the workpiece surface to hold uneven or irregularly shaped parts.

Extra-Fine Serrations—Extra-fine serrations are closer together than fine serrations for less penetration and a lighter hold on the workpiece.

Fine Serrations—Fine serrations penetrate the workpiece for aggressive holding.

Fine Thread—Fine threads are closely spaced for more precise adjustments than coarse threads. They also resist loosening from vibration better than coarse threads.

Solid-Surface Grippers

Clamp uneven or odd-shaped workpieces onto these grippers to hold them securely in place. Rather than a through hole, these grippers have a solid surface that grips your workpiece evenly and shields the mounting hole from debris. However, they can be harder to line up than grippers with a through hole. They mount from the bottom with a socket head cap screw.

Set-Screw Grippers

Screw in from the top to adjust the height or mount from the bottom with a hex key to set the gripping surface flush with the work surface. Clamp against these grippers to maintain a secure hold on uneven or irregularly shaped parts.
