Grade 30 Chain—Not for Lifting
Use this strong chain for binding loads, tie downs, and towing applications. It is stamped with the grade and manufacturer. When using fittings with chain, you must match the trade size and meet or exceed the chain’s grade.
Zinc-plated steel chain has good corrosion resistance. Galvanized steel chain has excellent corrosion resistance.

304 and 316 stainless steel chain are the most corrosion resistant. 316 stainless steel is more corrosion resistant than 304 stainless steel, so you can use it in food processing areas and environments where chemicals are used.

To connect two lengths of chain, use an S-hook or a connecting chain link.
Warning: Chain is not load rated. Do not use for overhead lifting, towing, or similar applications.

Stainless steel slings are corrosion resistant.
Grade 100 steel slings are approximately 20% stronger than grade 80 steel.
Note: Do not use slings at an angle less than 30°.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
