Forged Stainless Steel Single-Saddle Wire Rope Clamps—Not for Lifting

Made of 316 stainless steel, these clamps are corrosion resistant. They must be oriented with the saddle on the long (live) end and U-bolt on the short (dead) end. Their forged fabrication makes these clamps more reliable in critical applications such as tie downs and support lines. They’re also known as wire rope clips.

Warning: Test all assemblies for required strength before use. Do not use with coated rope unless the coating is removed.

Cast Wire Rope Clamps—Not for Lifting

Use in noncritical applications, such as fencing, where the strength of a forged clamp is not required. Install clamps so the saddle is on the long (live) end and the U-bolt is on the short (dead) end. They’re also known as wire rope clips.

Zinc-plated iron clamps are mildly corrosion resistant.

Galvanized iron clamps have a thicker coating than zinc-plated clamps for added corrosion resistance.

18-8 stainless steel clamps are more corrosion resistant than galvanized clamps.

316 stainless steel clamps are the most corrosion resistant fittings we offer. They provide excellent resistance to chemicals and salt water.

Galvanized steel and iron clamps and thimbles are corrosion resistant.

Quick-Adjust Wire Rope Clamps—Not for Lifting

Create a loop without speciality tools. To install, feed wire rope through the clamp in one direction, form a loop, and feed the rope back through in the opposite direction. Once installed, the loop can be easily adjusted and secured. Also known as Gripple rope clamps. They are for use in noncritical applications, such as fencing.

Easy-Install Rope Clamps—Not for Lifting

Make a removable loop without specialty tools–secure the two halves of these clamps with a screwdriver and the included screws.

To create a loop end on one rope, use the single-rope clamps. They have two input holes and one output hole, so one end of the rope will be stored inside the clamp.

Use double-rope clamps with single-rope clamps to reinforce your loop for an even stronger connection. You can also use them to join two separate lengths of rope together. To increase the strength of your application, use more than one clamp. All have two input and two output holes.

Warning: Fittings must match rope diameter and be installed correctly to obtain maximum holding power. Test all assemblies for required strength before use.
