    Equipment-Cooling Vortex Tubes

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Vortex Tubes. Equipment-Cooling Vortex Tubes.
Vortex tubes convert compressed air into a stream of cold air. Use them to keep heat-sensitive electronic equipment cool with cold air. They have no moving parts for a long service life. Note: Air supply must be filtered to remove moisture and contaminants.
Mufflers—Mufflers (sold separately) reduce the sound level to protect your hearing.
Airflow Adjusters—Airflow adjusters (sold separately) can be switched out to increase or decrease the vortex tube's airflow (cfm) to alter its cooling capacity.

    Cycling Air Dryers

Remove bulk water vapor from your compressed air line by refrigerating the air. These dryers have a timer-activated drain valve that opens automatically to discharge condensate. Install them in your air line after the compressor and separator.
Noncycling—Noncycling dryers run continuously to dry compressed air, so they’re best for applications with a constant need for dry air.
Cycling—Cycling dryers adjust their cooling level based on your compressed air system’s needs. While they require more maintenance than noncycling dryers, they’re more energy efficient. They’re best suited for applications with varying air demands.

High-Capacity Refrigerant-Cooled Compressed Air Dryers with Filters for Particle Removal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Compressed Air Dryers. High-Capacity Refrigerant-Cooled Compressed Air Dryers with Filters for Particle Removal.
These all-in-one dryers with filters eliminate the need for individual dryers and filters. They cool air through refrigeration to condense water vapor for removal. Because they are noncycling and run continuously, they are best for applications that need constant dry air. A float-operated drain valve opens automatically when the bowl begins to fill. After water removal, a heat exchanger raises the outlet air temperature to prevent condensation on downstream piping. The built-in display lets you monitor and adjust the dew point of the compressed air. Be sure to install in your air line after the compressor and separator.

    Hazardous Location Enclosure-Cooling Vortex Tubes

Image of Product. Front orientation. Vortex Tubes. Hazardous Location Enclosure-Cooling Vortex Tubes.
UL classified for hazardous locations, these vortex tubes convert compressed air into a stream of cold air to keep electronics within enclosures from overheating while also keeping dust and other contaminants out. They chill compressed air by 50° F or more. These vortex tubes have a check valve that seals the air outlet when the unit is not in use, allowing the enclosure to be pressurized. All include a ducting kit to distribute cool air throughout the enclosure.
5,000 BTU/hr Cooling Capacity—Vortex tubes with a cooling capacity of 5,000 Btu/hr. have dual air outlets that release two cold air streams. They’re good for cooling down large enclosures and electronics that generate a lot of heat. You can direct the air streams separately to target specific electronics. These vortex tubes take up more space inside of enclosures than those with a lower cooling capacity.

Quietly cool electronics inside enclosures to your desired temperature while keeping out rain, snow, splashing water, and dirt. After you set the thermostat on these vortex tubes, it works with a solenoid valve to regulate temperature. Cooling turns on and off automatically to cut down on energy use. These vortex tubes have mufflers on both the hot and cold air outlets to reduce noise. Using compressed air, they’re a lower-maintenance choice than electric air conditioners. Adjust the ducting to spread air evenly in your enclosure or to cool specific parts. A filter captures and drains moisture from the air to protect your equipment from water damage.

    Electric Air Compressors with Aftercooler

Image of Product. Front orientation. Air Compressors. Electric Air Compressors with Aftercooler.
Power equipment with built-in moisture control—these air compressors have a built-in aftercooler that cools down air leaving the compressor to remove condensation. This helps relieve the strain on your separator and dryer down the line. These compressors are useful for air-powered tools, where corrosion can clog air lines, and for control systems, where moisture can disrupt signals.
These compressors use pistons to pressurize air in two stages—compressing air, cooling it, and then compressing it again. This two-step process reduces wear, limits heat buildup, and improves overall efficiency. The integrated aftercooler cools the air as it exits the compressor, condensing any remaining moisture so it can be drained before it causes an issue. The automatic drain clears the condensate from the tank to keep everything running smoothly—especially important in high-moisture lines.
These compressors turn on when tank pressure drops to the actuation point and shut off when it reaches maximum pressure. They can run continuously without a cooling period. If you plan to run them continuously, use SAE 30 synthetic oil (sold separately) to maintain performance and efficiency.
