Timer-Operated Compressed Air Drain Valves

Set the electronic timer on these drain valves to open automatically at your specified time interval. They’re excellent for compressed air systems with high oil content because they resist clogging when water, oil, and sediment combine to form sludge. Install drain valves after separators, dryers, filters, and aftercoolers to collect and remove water from your air line.
Drain valves that meet NEMA 4 are rated for protection from dirt and washdowns. Drain valves that meet NEMA 4X are rated for protection from dirt, washdowns, and corrosion.
Install optional strainers before drain valves to prevent damage from debris in your pipeline.

Easy-to-Monitor Float-Operated Compressed Air Drain Valves

Keep an eye on condensate collecting in your compressed air line. These drain valves have a clear bowl, so you can see inside to inspect the contents. Also known as drip legs, these have a float that automatically opens the drain when the bowl begins to fill. Install them at low points in your line after separators, dryers, filters, and aftercoolers. Drains can be serviced without removing them from your air line.

High-Discharge Float-Operated Compressed Air Drain Valves

With a discharge capacity of more than four gallons per minute, these drain valves can handle large compressed air systems. Also known as drip legs, these drain valves have a float that automatically opens the drain when the bowl begins to fill. Install them at low points in your line after separators, dryers, filters, and aftercoolers. Drains can be serviced without removing them from your air line.
For technical drawings and 3-D models, click on a part number.
Back-Pressure-Operated Compressed Air Drain Valves

When your compressor turns off, it creates back pressure that opens these valves automatically, allowing liquid to escape. Moisture is atomized as it is discharged through the included muffler, eliminating the need for discharge piping. The muffler also minimizes noise. Install drain valves after coolers, separators, dryers, and filters.

No-Air-Loss Compressed Air Drain Valves

Save energy by minimizing the loss of compressed air. Unlike other drain valves, these only open when they're full. They close before the reservoir is completely empty, so no air escapes from the system. Install them at low points in your air line after separators, dryers, filters, and aftercoolers.
Air-powered valves don’t need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. When water raises the float to a set point, these valves open. They have a simple internal design and large openings to prevent clogs. Drain valves with an air pilot require an additional line of air to operate. Install a 5-micron particle filter (sold separately) before the 1- and 3.5-gpm capacity valves.
Electric-powered valves have a sensor. When condensate inside the valve rises to the level of the sensor, the valve opens to drain. Valves detect when they’re blocked—they automatically open and close to attempt to remove the blockage and sound an alarm if they’re still blocked. Drain valves with a contact for remote signaling device can be wired to activate a remote alarm if blocked.

Timer-Operated Air On/Off Valves

Install these valves on your air storage tank outlet—at the end of the day, they automatically close to save energy. While in the off position, the tank stays pressurized so the compressor doesn't run when you don't need it to, even if there are small leaks from pipe fittings, drip legs, and other downstream connections. Also known as solenoid valves, these valves actuate when voltage is applied to the electrical connection. They operate on a timer that can be programmed to work with a regular schedule, but they also have a manual override if your schedule changes. They gradually open to prevent system damage from suddenly starting flow.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is a measurement that indicates how much airflow can pass through a valve.

Food Industry Solenoid On/Off Valves with Push-to-Connect Fittings

- For Use With: Food, Beverage
- Seal Material: EPR Rubber
- Specifications Met: CSA Certified, NSF/ANSI 169
Insert tubing into the fittings on these valves—no heat, solder, or flux required. Valves meet NSF/ANSI 169 for use with food equipment. They operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow.
All are normally closed unless actuated. Valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Pressure-Regulating Inline Hydraulic Valves

When input pressure varies, use these valves to maintain a consistent pressure. They are often placed after a directional-control valve and before an actuator, such as a cylinder. They have an indicator/gauge port for the inlet and one for the outlet so you can monitor that output pressure remains steady.

Pressure-Regulating Block-Mount Hydraulic Valves

This valve maintains a consistent pressure in a system when input pressure varies. It is often placed after a directional-control valve and before an actuator, such as a cylinder. Use screws to attach to an NFPA valve-mounting block (each component sold separately).

Solenoid On/Off Valves with Exhaust Port

- For Use With: Water, Oil, Air, Argon, Helium, Neon, Xenon, Krypton
- Seal Material: Buna-N Rubber
- Specifications Met: CSA Certified, UL Listed
Often used to control single-acting, spring-return air cylinders, these valves have a third threaded port to exhaust media. They operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow.
Valves require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet for operation; the upstream pressure must be greater than the downstream pressure. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear. Valves' enclosures meet NEMA 4X for resistance to washdowns, splashing water, corrosive liquid, and dust.
Normally closed valves exhaust media unless actuated; when actuated, they close the exhaust port and reverse the direction of flow to send media to equipment. Normally open valves send media to equipment unless actuated; when actuated, they open the exhaust port and reverse the direction of flow to exhaust media.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Compact Solenoid On/Off Valves with Push-to-Connect Fittings

Insert tubing into the fittings on these valves—no heat, solder, or flux required. They operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow.
Valves are normally closed unless actuated. They don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.
