Aluminum Submersible Cord Grips for Building Cable
With an oval bushing hole, these lightweight grips secure flat building cable, such as Romex and Festoon cable, in wet areas. All offer strain relief to extend cable life. Made of aluminum, these grips are lighter in weight than steel and brass grips yet durable. They are NEMA and IP rated, so they’ll stand up to dust, oil, washdowns, and temporary submersion in water.

Aluminum Cord Grips
These cord grips are lightweight yet durable. As you tighten the grip, a nylon inner ring and lubricated rubber bushing secure your cable, prevent overtightening, and create a seal around the cord to block out liquid. The inner rings are colored by size so you can identify them at a glance.
Locknut and O-ring kits (sold separately) create liquid-tight seals between cord grips and enclosure knockouts. When used together with the cord grips, they meet NEMA 4X, NEMA 13, and IP66 ratings, so they can be used indoors and outdoors to protect against corrosion, dust, spraying water, oil, and coolant. Each kit includes two locknuts and one or two O-rings.

Sure-Grip Aluminum Cord Grips
A mesh extension provides a secure hold in applications where cable is pulled or in motion. It reduces stress on the cable and prevents kinking for longer cable life. A plastic bushing seals out dust and dirt.

Aluminum Wet-Location Cord Grips
These cord grips are lightweight yet durable. They have a zinc-plated steel locknut and metal-reinforced rubber O-ring that prevents liquid from entering the connection. All are rated NEMA 4X, NEMA 13, and IP66 to provide indoor and outdoor protection against dust, corrosion, water projected from a hose, and oil/coolant spray.
Grips have a knurled collar for hand tightening. As you tighten the grip, a nylon inner ring and lubricated rubber bushing secure your cable, prevent overtightening, and create a seal around the cord to block out liquid.
