Crossbars
This traditional design is common in older installations. Crossbars open doors with a push and are often used on emergency exits. You can use them alone or mount an optional handle on the outside of the door. All can be cut to fit a range of door widths.
Latch bolt projection is the length the latch bolt extends from the door's edge.
Crossbars for double doors have vertical rods that latch into strike plates mounted on the floor and ceiling.
Crossbars for single/double doors do not include vertical rods. When used on double doors, a center support (not included) is required.
Key-locking lever handles must be installed with a back plate (included) when used on wood doors.

Pry-Resistant Crossbars
Able to withstand vandalism better than other crossbars, these mortise mount into a cutout in the door. Crossbars have a traditional design that is common in older installations. They open doors with a push and are often used on emergency exits. You can use them alone or mount an optional handle on the outside of the door. All can be cut to fit a range of door widths.
To determine door swing direction, stand on the side of the door where it swings away from you. If it opens to the right, select a right crossbar; if it opens to the left, select a left crossbar. Latch bolt projection is the length the latch bolt extends from the door's edge.

High-Tension Cargo Bars for Trailers

The ratchet handle tightens incrementally for maximum tension. Position between walls in trailers to brace large loads. Pivoting rubber pads at each end provide slip resistance.
Style A bar folds in the middle for convenient storage.
Steel is high strength. Aluminum is lightweight yet strong.
Optional hoops provide added protection against cargo shifting.

Quick-Tight Cargo Bars for Trailers

Press the lever down to quickly tighten these bars. Lift the lever and pull the bar to extend length, and then press down to lock. Lift the lever again to release. Position between walls in trailers to brace large loads. Pivoting rubber pads at each end provide slip resistance.
Steel is high strength.
Aluminum is lightweight yet strong.

Controlled-Tension Cargo Bars for Trailers

Push the spring-loaded button to adjust the length in small increments, then pump the handle to further tighten the bar. Internal hydraulics prevent overtightening the bar. Use a separate button to release. Position between walls in trucks, vans, or trailers to brace large loads. Pivoting rubber pads at each end provide slip resistance.
Optional hoop provides added protection against cargo shifting.

Cargo Bars for Vans and Small Trucks

These bars expand between walls in vans and small trucks to brace loads. Squeeze the spring-loaded release to manually adjust the length, and then ratchet the handle to tighten the bar. Pivoting rubber pads at each end provide slip resistance.
Style A is designed for light loads; Style B has a heavy duty ratchet.

Removable Center Supports for Double Doors

Also known as mullions, these posts allow surface-mount exit devices to be used on double doors. They accept the strike plates included with standard and impact-resistant devices. Supports are removable to allow large equipment through.
