Flame- and Heat-Resistant Blankets
Blankets are for intermittent contact with flames and hot surfaces.
Fiberglass blankets are best for stress relief applications. Wrap them around a hot metal part to insulate it and slowly cool it to avoid stress cracks and fractures. They can also be used in medium-duty welding applications, since they will protect against sparks and spatter.
For made-to-order blankets, minimum size is 22 sq. ft.

PTFE-Coated Fiberglass Mesh Fabric Sheets
With larger openings than porous fiberglass fabric, these sheets allow for more air circulation in drying applications. The PTFE coating makes them nonstick and chemical resistant.

Tear-Resistant PTFE-Coated Fiberglass Fabric Sheets
These sheets are 50% more tear resistant than other fiberglass fabric sheets. The PTFE coating makes them nonstick and chemical resistant.
Porous PTFE-Coated Fiberglass Fabric Sheets
Pores allow for air circulation, so these sheets are often used in drying applications. The PTFE coating makes them nonstick and chemical resistant.
Very High-Temperature Vermiculite-Coated Fiberglass Fabric
Resistant to sparks and molten metal spatter, this fabric withstands temperatures up to 1000° F. Commonly used for curtains, blankets, and gaskets.
Flexible Silica Fabric Sheets and Strips
More flexible than standard silica fabric, wrap these sheets and strips to insulate pipes, wires, and hose. This fabric also protects against welding spatter and can be used as curtains, covers, and splash shields. Containing 96% silica, this material has one of the highest temperature ratings of any fabric we offer.
Water-Repellent Cotton Fabric Sheets
Saturated with wax, these sheets also have a polyester coating on one side to resist corrosion and moisture. Protect piping and wrap irregularly shaped objects with this very flexible fabric. It adheres to itself but can be separated easily.
