Rotary Speed Limiters
Install these rotary speed limiters at the hinges of small lids, doors, and access panels for smooth, quiet motion. They're often used in electronics applications.
Speed limiters with a 105°, 110°, or 130° rotation angle are commonly used for small movements, such as closing lids.
Dual direction speed limiters dampen motion in both directions. Common uses for them include controlling the motion of a switch-activated door and opening and closing a DVD player.
Clockwise and counterclockwise speed limiters dampen motion in the listed direction, moving freely in the opposite direction. Use them in processes that require returning a part to its original position.
Speed limiters with adjustable torque have a knob on the back to control damping torque. Use them in applications that require fine tuning.

Miniature Tight-Hold Wing-Handle Cam Latches
Install these latches on enclosure doors with smaller-than-standard diameter through holes. All have a wing handle that makes it harder to snag straps and other items on them than on T- or L-handle latches. Also known as compression cam latches, these create a tighter hold than a traditional cam latch, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the head a quarter turn to latch, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
These latches help keep a sealed enclosure's contents safe from dust and water damage. This helps you maintain your sealed enclosure's IP or NEMA rating. All include a cam with an adjustable latching distance. They handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown.
For latches with a screw cam, you can easily tighten the screw to adjust the latching distance and tension over time.

Tight-Hold Wing-Handle Padlockable Cam Latches

It’s harder to snag straps and other items on these wing-handle latches than on T- or L-handle latches. Also known as compression cam latches, these create a tighter hold than a traditional cam latch, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Push the handle in to turn the head a quarter turn and latch. Releasing the handle draws the cam firmly against the door to minimize rattling from vibration. Add a padlock for extra security, so the handle can’t turn.
These latches include one cam that has a fixed latching distance. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, these are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance.

Tight-Hold Hex-Drive Cam Locks

Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than a traditional cam lock, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration. Since they lock with a hex key, these locks are great if you want to secure an enclosure with a simple keying system.
Locks with a fixed latching distance are best when you know the precise distance you need. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, these are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance. All include multiple cams, so you can change the fixed latching distance.
Locks with an adjustable latching distance handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. They project further into the enclosure than those with a fixed latching distance.
For locks with mounting holes, the installation hole can be made with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is especially helpful if the material of the door is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure. Push the lock into your through hole and secure it with fasteners so it won’t rotate as you turn the head.
IP or NEMA rated locks have a gasket that helps keep low-pressure washdowns and dust from entering through the lock. This helps you maintain your sealed enclosure's IP or NEMA rating.

Vibration-Resistant Two-Way-Drive Cam Locks
Get the vibration resistance of a tight-hold lock with the simple operation of a quarter-turn lock. These locks have a spring-loaded bushing that stops your door from vibrating open. However, they don’t close as tightly as tight-hold locks. These locks open with a two-way key (sold separately). Also known as a double-bit key, it matches a keying system that’s common for industrial enclosures and other machinery but is more secure than a hex key or screwdriver. These locks also have a flat, concealed design that stops others from tampering with them using pliers.
An O-ring prevents water and dust from getting into your enclosure through the lock. This helps you maintain your sealed enclosure’s IP65 rating. To accommodate different latching distances, these locks come with multiple cams.
Style A locks have a flat surface that offers more security and dust protection than typical cam locks. Their bushing remains depressed when the lock is not fully closed, so you can see when the latch is not secure.

Tight-Hold Triangle-Drive Cam Locks for Pressurized Enclosures

Mount these two-piece locks on sealed pressurized enclosures to gradually release pressure and prevent your door from bursting open. A quarter turn partially opens the door and lets the pressure escape while the door is still latched. Another quarter turn fully opens the door. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than a traditional cam lock, making them useful for doors that have a seal. To lock, turn the head a quarter turn, then another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
These locks open with a triangle key (sold separately), so they're more secure than locks that open with a hex or slotted driver yet still match a common keying system for industrial enclosures and other machinery. They have a concealed design to stop others from tampering with them using pliers. Since these locks do not extend inside the enclosure when installed, you’ll have full use of the inside space.

High-Pressure Washdown Tight-Hold Two-Way-Drive Cam Locks

An O-ring keeps water from entering through the lock during high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns. This helps you maintain an IP69K rating on sealed enclosures, such as those in food processing plants. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than traditional cam locks, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.

Pry-Resistant Swing-Handle Keyed Alike Cam Locks

Stop burglars from breaking in with saws, screwdrivers, pliers, and other common tools—these locks meet RC2 security standards. Often installed on server cabinets and electrical panels, they have a handle that swings smoothly when you lift it to latch and unlatch the door. The handle lies flat when locked, which means it won’t snag anything passing by. These locks are keyed alike, so choose them if you need several locks that open with the same key.
Also known as quarter-turn locks, these locks have a cam that rotates 90° as you swing the handle. They come with multiple cams, so you can change their fixed latching distance. An O-ring stops dust and water from getting into your sealed enclosure through the lock. This helps you maintain the enclosure’s IP65 rating. For extra protection, they also have a shutter that guards the cylinder from water and dust.

Vibration-Resistant Square-Drive Cam Locks

A spring-loaded bushing keeps your enclosure door from vibrating open. These locks combine the vibration resistance of a tight-hold lock with the simple operation of a quarter-turn cam lock. However, they don't close as tightly as tight-hold locks. All have an arm that rotates 90° to secure your enclosure. They include multiple cams, so you can change their fixed latching distance. Since you won’t have to adjust the cams into position, these locks are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance.
These locks open with a square key (sold separately), so they're more secure than locks that open with a hex or slotted driver yet still match a common keying system for industrial enclosures and other machinery. They have a concealed design to stop others from tampering with them using pliers. An O-ring or gasket helps keep dust and low-pressure washdowns from entering through the lock. This helps maintain your sealed enclosure's IP or NEMA rating.

Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration. All of these locks open with a triangle key, so they're more secure than locks that open with a hex or slotted driver yet still match a common keying system for industrial enclosures and other machinery.
Locks with a fixed latching distance are best when you know the precise distance you need. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, these are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance. Those with straight and offset cams include multiple cams, so you can change the fixed latching distance.
Locks with a roller cam rotate more smoothly than those with straight and offset cams, making them easier to open and close. The cam won't scrape paint or metal chips off the frame that can damage sensitive electronics inside the enclosure. These locks are flush with the surface, so you won’t bump into or catch clothes on them.
IP or NEMA rated locks have a gasket that helps keep dust and water from washdowns or brief submersions from entering through the lock. This helps you maintain your sealed enclosure's IP or NEMA rating.

Hex-Drive Cam Locks

For a simplified keying system, these cam locks open with a hex key (not included).
Locks with a fixed latching distance are best when you know the precise distance you need. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, they’re faster to install than locks with an adjustable latching distance. Those with offset or roller cams come with multiple cams to accommodate different latching distances.
Locks with an adjustable latching distance handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before installing. They project further into the enclosure than those with a fixed latching distance.
Locks with a roller or protected cam rotate more smoothly than those with other straight and offset cams, making them easier to open and close. The cam won't scrape paint or metal chips off the frame that can damage items in the enclosure. The roller cam also compresses a bit to help minimize rattling from vibration.
Style B have a low profile, so they won’t catch on anything that passes by.
IP or NEMA rated locks have a gasket that keeps dust and water from getting in through the lock. IP65 rated locks seal out water from low-pressure washdowns.
EN 45545 rated locks meet flammability standards.

Tight-Hold Square-Drive Cam Locks for Pressurized Enclosures

Mount these two-piece locks on sealed pressurized enclosures to gradually release pressure and prevent your door from bursting open. A quarter turn partially opens the door and lets the pressure escape while the door is still latched. Another quarter turn fully opens the door. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than a traditional cam lock, making them useful for doors that have a seal. To lock, turn the head a quarter turn, then another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
These locks open with a square key (sold separately), so they're more secure than locks that open with a hex or slotted driver yet still match a common keying system for industrial enclosures and other machinery. They have a concealed design to stop others from tampering with them using pliers. Since these locks do not extend inside the enclosure when installed, you’ll have full use of the inside space.

Miniature Tight-Hold Square-Drive Cam Locks

Prevent cabinet doors, drawers, and other enclosures with smaller-than-standard diameter through holes from vibrating open. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than standard cam locks, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression. The second turn reduces rattling from vibration. A gasket prevents water, dust, and dirt from getting into an enclosure through the lock. This helps you maintain an IP65 rating in your sealed enclosure.
These locks open with a square key (sold separately), so they're more secure than locks that open with a hex or slotted driver yet still match a common keying system for industrial enclosures and other machinery. Their concealed design also stops others from tampering with them using pliers. These locks have an adjustable latching distance and multiple cams to adapt to a wider range of distances than other locks with a fixed latching distance. They’re best when precise distances are unknown.

Snap-In Keyed Alike Cam Locks

Quickly snap these locks into a through-hole cutout—there’s no need to fasten them with a screw. All fit snugly in their cutout to stand up to the same vibration as a traditional cam lock will. Also known as quarter-turn locks, these locks have an arm that rotates 90° to secure enclosures. Each cam has a fixed latching distance. Since you won’t have to adjust the cams into position, these locks are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance. Choose these locks if you need several locks that open with the same key.
Zinc locks have a stainless steel shutter that blocks rain, snow, and dirt from entering the lock cylinder, which can cause internal damage. All of these locks mount in an irregular installation hole. They come with multiple cams to accommodate different latching distances.
