M8 Ethernet Connectors
The threaded end of these M8 connectors keeps contaminants out and withstands vibration better than RJ45 ends on traditional Ethernet cords. They are often used with sensors, switches, and I/O modules. To protect against signal interference, these connectors are shielded. Connectors are Power over Ethernet (POE) enabled to carry data and power within one connector.
To view wiring diagrams, select a part number and click Product Detail.
A-coded connectors work with EtherCAT connections that have the same pole configuration.
Snap-on wire connections pierce wire insulation, eliminating the need for wire stripping. They maintain a secure hold in high-vibration applications.
Connectors with a polyurethane cable bend easily, so they are ideal for applications that require continuous flexibility such as robotics. They also resist oil.
These connectors are IP rated when mated. IP65 rated connectors protect against dust and low-pressure jets of water. IP67 rated connectors keep out dust and water from temporary submersion.

Push-to-Lock Data Connectors
Push these connectors together for secure Ethernet connections that are quick and easy to connect and disconnect with just one hand. You’ll know when the plug and socket are locked in place when you hear a click. To unlock them, slide the sleeve on the plug back and pull them apart. Unlike standard plastic-tabbed RJ45 connectors, these have a tight hold that resists vibration. They also have a cord grip that keeps your Ethernet cable connected to the plug, even if it’s pulled or snagged. All of these connectors are shielded to block electromagnetic interference (EMI). IP65 and IP67 rated, they stand up to dust, low-pressure washdowns, and brief submersion.
To prevent unplanned disconnects, connectors with a plastic housing have a locking ring that keeps the sleeve on the plug from accidentally being pulled back. These connectors fit into rectangular panel cutouts. Add ID clips for color coding, so you can spot which connectors are for certain lines or applications at a glance.
Connectors with a nickel-plated zinc housing fit into round panel cutouts, which are easier to punch out in the field than rectangular panel cutouts.

Shielded Snap-On Data Connectors

Protect equipment from electromagnetic interference. Connectors have a snap-on wire connection that pierces the insulation to eliminate the need for wire stripping. A color-coded wiring guide allows for quick cable termination.
Plugs with a cord grip offer strain relief and keep the cable securely attached in applications that require frequent movement, such as robotics.
Plugs with an adjustable-angle elbow let you choose a 0°-90° bend angle while installing. Good when space is tight around the port, you can rotate them into 32 positions.

Food Industry Micro M12 Screw-Together Ethernet Connectors

FDA compliant to safely touch food and threaded for a tight hold, these connectors won’t vibrate loose as they send high-speed data to sensors and other automated devices in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical plants. They stand up to brief submersion as well as high-heat washdowns and harsh cleaners common to food lines, thanks to their IP ratings, TPE insulation, and stainless steel and polypropylene housing. Their insulation also means they’re flexible and won’t break down from abrasion or UV exposure. Overall, they’re more rugged than traditional RJ45 connectors.
To reduce the risk of signal loss between equipment, these connectors block signal interference from nearby devices. Poles and keyways on their face adhere to standard coding layouts, keeping you from mis-mating connections. D coded, these connectors are often used within Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and EtherCat systems. They can also power devices as they send data, so you don’t need a separate power cord. But, your device must be Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible.
When choosing an Ethernet connector, make sure you match or exceed your network’s category industry designation. These connectors are backward compatible—for example, a Category 6 connector will work in a Category 5 network, but it’ll only run at the Category 5 speed.

Micro M12 Screw-Together Ethernet Connectors
Unlike traditional RJ45 connectors found in data centers, these connectors stand up to rugged industrial environments since they tightly thread to devices with M12 connections, sealing out contaminants and resisting shaking loose from vibration. Use them to transfer high-speed data between sensors, switches, computers, IO modules, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other equipment. They can also power devices as they send data, so you don’t need a separate power cord. But, the device must be Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible. These connectors are often used with EtherNet/IP, Profinet, and EtherCAT systems. Since they’re shielded, they block signal interference from nearby devices, maintaining their speed and data integrity. Poles and keyways on the face adhere to standard coding layouts to reduce the chance you’ll mismatch connections.
When choosing an Ethernet connector, make sure you match or exceed your network’s category industry designation. These connectors are backward compatible—for example, a Category 6 connector will work in a Category 5 network, but it’ll only run at the Category 5 speed.
A-coded and X-coded connectors send data faster than D-coded connectors, so they’re best for robotics and other systems that run multi-step programs.
Adapters create a transition point between an M12 and RJ45 connection. Use them in panels or walls—your tough threaded connection on one side and your control panel and computer or PLC on the other.
90° elbow connectors run your cord along the side of equipment, so they fit behind machines and in tight spaces.
Connectors with a snap-on wire connection pierce the wire’s insulation, which means you don’t need to strip it.
Connectors with polyurethane or TPE insulation resist chemicals, oil, and sunlight for outdoor use. Because they’re flexible, they’re good for jobs with continuous motion, such as robotics.
IP rated connectors keep out dust and can be used in wet areas when mated or capped. IP67 connectors can be submerged temporarily.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP ratings when not in use.

USB Adapters
Connect mismatched USB cords and devices with these adapters. They also reduce wear on your device’s or cord’s connections by serving as a new connection point. All USB adapters are backward compatible, so they work with cords and connectors that meet the same or a lower USB standard.
Adapters with reversible USB-A male plugs can be plugged in regardless of which side is up, unlike typical USB-A adapters.
90° elbow adapters fit flush against equipment, so they’re good for tight spaces.
Shielded adapters have metal insulation, so they reduce interference from nearby equipment and devices.

Data-Blocking USB Adapters

Protect your computer and other sensitive equipment against data breaches and malware from unknown USB devices. These adapters plug into a USB port to block data transfers to and from your computer. They allow power to flow through so the port can only be used for charging. Insert them into a USB port and push in the locking tab. You can only remove them using the key (sold separately).

Panel-Mount HDMI Adapters
Mount these adapters in a panel cutout.
Caps (sold separately) protect adapters when not in use. They are rated IP67 for protection against washdowns when used with adapters.
Label holders (sold separately) snap onto the front of adapters.
Sanitary Electric Multipurpose Connectors
Reduce the number of electrical connections in sanitary areas, such as food plants. These connectors combine Ethernet, a power cable, and wire for signals into a single connection point, so there are fewer places for bacteria to hide and grow. Their smooth surface and rounded edges are free of gaps where germs and liquids could collect, making them easy to clean. An EPDM gasket and silicone O-ring seal out water and contaminants.
These connectors, as well as their gasket, O-ring, and cable gland, are FDA compliant, which means they’re safe to directly touch food. IP69 rated when connected, they also block out dust and stand up to intense washdowns.
All connectors have 12 poles and 1 ground connection, which is not wired.
Add a cover to protect your connector’s poles and maintain its IP rating when not connected. Covers with a lanyard attach to the connector’s housing to prevent them from getting lost.

USB Cords
Connect devices such as computers, printers, and mobile devices. The higher the USB standard, the faster cords can transmit data. These cords are backward compatible, so they work with cords and connectors that meet the same or lower USB standard.
Cords with reversible A plugs can be plugged in regardless of which side is up, unlike most USB-A cords.
