Apply slurry to the plate and rub your workpiece on the surface to create a smooth, level finish. Grit and microns are approximate.

Water-soluble slurries are easy to clean up, and you can use them in areas where oil could contaminate your work surface. Oil-soluble slurries won't cause corrosion.
