Diamond Lapping Slurries


Thinner than paste, these slurries are easier to spread evenly over flat surfaces. They contain long-lasting diamond. Use them with a lapping machine or lapping plate. Apply slurry to the plate and rub your workpiece on the surface to create a smooth, level finish. Grit and microns are approximate.
Slurries with a medium concentration of diamond particles remove material more slowly than those with a heavy concentration, so you have more control over the finish. Use them in the final stages of your lapping process.
Slurries with a heavy concentration of diamond particles remove material up to two times faster than those with a medium concentration. Use them early in the lapping process. They come in a non-aerosol spray bottle, so you can apply slurry to a precise spot or distribute it evenly across your work surface.
Water-soluble slurries are easy to clean up, and you can use them in areas where oil could contaminate your work surface. Oil-soluble slurries won't cause corrosion.
