Use this general purpose grease to lubricate most machinery.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Mineral-oil-based grease, derived from petroleum, is usually more economical than synthetic-oil-based grease. Grease with aluminum thickener has good moisture resistance and excellent oxidation resistance. Grease with PTFE has small particles of PTFE that reduce friction and help the grease maintain its lubricity. Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Melting temperate is the point at which grease will fail and run out of equipment, leaving it to run dry.

Food Industry Grease

High-Pressure Food Industry Grease
This grease remains stable and in place under high pressure, heavy loads, and shock loads. It's often used to lubricate heavy-duty food production equipment.
Grease that is NSF registered H1 and grease that meets FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 are rated for incidental contact with food.

Controlled-Use Food Industry Grease
This grease comes in cartridges that only work with our Controlled-Use Food-Grade Lever-Grip Grease Guns to make sure that the right grease is used in food-processing areas. It is NSF registered H1 for incidental food contact. Thickened with aluminum, this grease has excellent oxidation resistance and good moisture resistance. It also can withstand heavy pressure and high loads.

Food Industry Bearing Grease
Use this grease in food-processing and preparation areas. It is FDA compliant and wear resistant for use in a wide range of bearings. Mineral-oil-based grease is derived from petroleum. Made with aluminum thickener, this grease has good moisture resistance and excellent oxidation resistance. It also has excellent resistance to wear and can withstand high-load and high-pressure applications because it is made with moly (molybdenum disulfide).
