Chip-Clearing Cobalt Steel Drill Bits
The parabolic spiral flutes lift chips out of the hole, reducing clogging and improving coolant flow. With better heat and wear resistance than high-speed steel, these cobalt steel bits can run up to 25% faster and have a longer tool life. All are jobbers’ length so they have the rigidity and length required for most applications. A split point keeps the bit centered without a pilot hole.

Hardened Undersized High-Speed M2 Tool Steel Rods

These rods, also known as drill blanks, have an undersized diameter for machining your own jobbers'-length drill bits. They're hardened for increased abrasion and impact resistance. M2 tool steel offers a nice balance of wear resistance and machinability. It has a high molybdenum content, which allows it to maintain sharp cutting edges even at elevated temperatures.

Easy-to-Install Thread-Locking Inserts with Installation Tools
A closed-end tap, drill bit, and installation bit are included with these inserts. Also known as E-Z Lok, they use Loctite® adhesive to keep them in place. The adhesive reaches full strength after 72 hours. A black-phosphate finish provides mild corrosion resistance.
Choose inserts with a thick wall for greater strength than thin-wall inserts, or to fill a large hole.
