Adjustable-Position Milwaukee Magnetic-Base Drill Presses

Lock the magnet to secure the base and then move the motor to center the cutter for pinpoint accuracy. You can move the motor 3/4" forward and backward and tilt it 20° left and right. Switch these drills from forward to reverse without stopping—ideal for both drilling and tapping applications (not recommended for use with pipe taps). In addition, a dial lets you adjust the speed to match your application, making these great for drilling hard materials at slow speeds. Base attaches to flat ferrous surfaces (such as steel and cast iron). Holding force (also called drill point breakaway) is calculated against a 1" thick steel plate. Drills include a spoked feed handle that mounts on either side.
Drill presses for 3/4" and 1 1/4" max. drill bit sizes can be used with carbide-tipped hollow-core cutters.
Drill press for 1/2" max. drill bit size cannot be used with hollow-core cutters. It is not for use with 5/8"-11 and 1/2"-13 taps.
Note: To avoid damaging the electromagnet, do not mount press to a base that has a welder already grounded to it.

Jancy Magnetic-Base Drills for Hollow-Core Cutters

These drills work with hollow-core cutters to cut only on the periphery of the hole and produce a solid slug. This allows for a faster and easier cut than drilling with standard drill bits. Also known as magnetic core drilling machines.
They have a feed handle that mounts on the left or right side of the drill. The electromagnetic base attaches to flat ferrous surfaces (such as steel and cast iron). These drills also have a valve to adjust coolant flow. Holding force (also called drill-point breakaway) is calculated against a 1" thick steel plate.
Chucks and adapters (sold separately) allow these models to accept standard drill bits.

Safety Guards for Drill Presses

Keep your fingers and hands protected from your drill bit, drill chuck, and flying chips. This guard retracts as the drill penetrates your material, lowers when the spindle is raised, and flips out of the way for quick bit changes. A depth adjustment knob allows for quick adjusting of the guard position. Body is made from high-impact clear plastic for an unobstructed view.

Mini Magnetic Drill Base

Get the accuracy of a drill press when you use this lightweight, portable drill base with Milwaukee electric drill models 0234-6 and 0244-1. The powerful electromagnetic base firmly attaches to flat, ferrous surfaces such as steel and cast iron. Holding force (also called drill-point breakaway) is calculated against a 1" thick steel plate.

Core Drill Bits for Glass and Ceramic

Reduce the chance of chipping and cracking when drilling in glass and ceramic. These hollow bits are diamond-coated for long life and fast cutting. They are for use in drill presses only and require an adapter (sold separately). Attach the threaded nut to the adapter, then install the adapter into the chuck on a drill press. Coolant, such as water, is required when drilling with these bits. The size listed is the bit's OD.
Drill press adapters attach to a water line, which acts as coolant during drilling, and include an on/off valve. Both adapters work with all of these drill bits, but choose the shank size that fits your application.

Straight-Shank Drill Chuck Arbors with Drill-Feed Attachment

For better control when drilling small holes with a drill press or milling machine, the attachment on this arbor lets you apply light feed pressure with your fingers while the machine rotates the bit. A spring-loaded, ball-bearing drill feed automatically retracts when the gripping ring is released. The straight shank fits into a machine spindle and the Jacobs taper end is compatible with a Jacobs taper drill chuck.
