Easy-Swap Iron Basket Strainers

No need to shut down your operation to service your strainer—these have two baskets so you can divert flow to one basket while you work on the other. Turn the valve handle to direct flow. Commonly used in high-flow industrial processes, basket strainers hold more debris all of our other strainers. Install them in your pipeline to prevent particles from damaging sensitive equipment. Strainers should be used in noncorrosive environments. They have a threaded drain with a plug for easy cleaning. Mounting brackets on the bottom allow you to bolt strainers to the floor for stability.

Strainers with flanged pipe connections allow for easy access to your pipeline; bolt them to a flange with the same pipe size.

Turn the valve handle to direct flow. Commonly used in high-flow industrial processes, basket strainers hold more debris than all of our other strainers. Use them in your pipeline prior to valves, pumps, and nozzles to trap particles and protect sensitive equipment. They have a threaded drain with a plug for easy cleaning. Mounting brackets on the bottom allow you to bolt strainers to the floor for stability.

Strainers are PVC, which is lightweight with excellent corrosion resistance. Commonly used in high-flow industrial processes, basket strainers hold more debris than all of our other strainers. Use them to prevent particle damage to sensitive equipment such as valves, pumps, and nozzles.

Strainers have two outlets for installation in inline or parallel pipe connections and a threaded drain with a plug for easy cleaning. They come with two sets of union adapters that allow easy access to your line: one with threaded pipe connections and one with socket-connect pipe connections. The socket-connect pipe connections attach to unthreaded pipe with cement for a permanent, leak-tight connection.
