    Style B

Mount these drains at the bottom of your enclosure to let moisture drip out and keep electronics dry.
Style A—Style A drains have a gasket that seals out air, water, and dust during high-pressure washdowns or when submerged. They also meet UL 94 V-0 for flame retardance.
Style B—Style B drains are for use in dusty and wet environments.

Safe for use around hazardous gasses and dust, these drain vents maintain steady pressure and prevent moisture buildup from temperature changes inside enclosures. They allow air to flow through the enclosures while protecting the contents from washdowns, dirt, and weather. Install these drain vents at the lowest point on an enclosure, so moisture can drip out.
Increased Safety—Increased-safety drain vents keep sparks, high temperatures, or current creepage inside an enclosure, so they won’t ignite flammable gasses and dust.
Flameproof—Flameproof drain vents reduce the risk of igniting flammable gasses and dust if an explosion occurs within the enclosure.
Glass-Filled Nylon—Glass-filled nylon drain vents are lightweight yet durable. They’re good for most areas.
316 Stainless Steel—316 stainless steel drain vents stand up to corrosion. They’re best for areas with salt water.

    Self-Draining Breather Vents

Minimize moisture buildup in enclosures. Also known as drain plugs, these breather vents have a small outlet that allows condensation to drain. They have a silicone O-ring above the threads for a tight seal. Install them at the lowest point of the enclosure. Breather vents meet IP66 for protection in washdown environments. Use them to prevent excess vacuum and pressure in cylinders, gear boxes, and tanks and to block debris from entering equipment.
