Electrical-Insulating Wire Caps

Cover live wire ends with insulated plastic caps that protect against shock from accidental contact. They are tested to 1,000 volts to meet IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505. Caps slip over wire and stay in place until you pull them off.

Heat-Shrink Tubing End Caps

Seal the end of crimped connections, such as motor coils, to insulate and protect them from moisture and abrasion. These caps have an adhesive lining that melts when the cap is heated and bonds to the underlying surface, creating a water-resistant seal. You can also use them to seal the ends of pipes and wire rope.

Pressure Relief Valve—Caps with a pressure-relief valve let you monitor pressure changes and release gases that build up due to changes in temperature and humidity.

Cold-Shrink Tubing End Caps

With a spiral-wound core, these end caps form a permanent seal on the end of your crimped wire or cable without heat or tools. Slide them on, pull out the core, and they conform to the end of your connection, creating a seal that insulates and protects against water, dust, and abrasion. They’re sometimes even used to seal the ends of pipes and wire rope.

EPDM—Made of EPDM, these caps won’t become brittle from ozone or chemicals such as acids and alkalis. They also won’t fade in the sun.
