Replaceable Carbide-Insert End Mills for Manual Milling Machines
Use these tools with low-horsepower, manual milling machines. They have clamps for holding inserts that do not have a mounting hole. Replaceable carbide-insert end mills reduce waste and cost in high-volume jobs—when the cutting edges dull, replace the carbide inserts instead of the entire tool. End mills have a square cut style for milling square slots, pockets, and edges. All are noncenter-cutting for operations where the sides of the teeth do most of the work, such as shoulder milling, contouring, and finishing. They cannot be used for plunge cuts.
R8-shank end mills have internal threads on the tapered end for connecting to a drawbar.
Carbide inserts have a wear-resistant titanium-nitride (TiN) coating.

Outside Chamfer End Mills for Pipes, Tubes, and Rods
Mill an angled edge to the entire outside diameter of pipe, tubes, and rods in a single pass with more speed and precision than a handheld scraper. These end mills deburr pipe and tube for butt welds and shape rods for sliding into housings and holes. They attach to screw machines, lathes, and drill presses and can be set up to repeat cuts for multiple pipes. Staggered cutting edges reduce vibration, resulting in a smooth finish. They have teeth that distribute cutting force and extend the life of the tool. Made of high-speed steel, they work with a variety of metals. Attach to your machine with a shank (sold separately).

Fly Cutters
Fly cutters clamp onto tool blanks (sold separately) to machine flat surfaces. As the cutter rotates, the tool blank creates a wide, shallow cut on the face of the workpiece. An alternative to face milling cutters for intermittent and light duty use, these cutters allow you to remove and hand-sharpen the tool blank when it becomes worn.

Face Milling Cutters
Also known as shell cutters, these high-speed steel cutters are good for face and side milling. They have a large mill diameter for removing a large amount of material per pass. Compared to fly cutters, they’re more rigid, which makes for a better finish. Use with an R8 shank arbor (sold separately).

High-Speed Steel Slitting Saws
These general purpose saws are good for cutoff, slitting, and slotting applications in a wide range of materials, including aluminum, iron, and steel. Use with an arbor (sold separately).
Saws with 1 1/4"-2 1/2" and 3"-8" mill dia. are also known as plain metal slitting saws.

Carbide Slitting Saws
Made of solid carbide, these saws are harder, stronger, and more wear resistant than high-speed steel for the longest life and best finish on hard material. Use them for cutoff, slitting, and slotting applications. Use with an arbor (sold separately).
