About Structural Adhesives
More
Anchoring Adhesives for Concrete
Permanently set threaded rods, studs, and rebar in dry concrete with these two-part epoxies. They form a weather-resistant chemical bond that seals out moisture and resists vibration and dynamic loads better than mechanical anchors. The size listed is the combined total of the two parts. Warning: Allowable pull-out strength is 25% of ultimate values or less, as required by building authorities.
Adhesives in cartridges can also be used in damp concrete. Use a mixer nozzle and dispensing gun (dispensing gun sold separately) to simultaneously mix and dispense adhesive.
Adhesives in pails have epoxy and hardener in separate containers that can be mixed in the pail.

Anchoring Adhesive Kits for Concrete

Permanently set threaded rods, studs, and rebar in concrete with these kits. They include applicators and mixer nozzles to simultaneously mix and dispense the adhesive. These adhesives form a weather-resistant chemical bond that seals out moisture and resists vibration and dynamic loads better than mechanical anchors. Warning: Allowable pull-out strength is 25% of ultimate values or less, as required by building authorities.

High-Temperature Anchoring Adhesives for Concrete

These adhesives maintain their strength in temperatures up to 250° F. Use them to permanently set threaded rods, studs, and rebar in concrete. They form a weather-resistant chemical bond that seals out moisture and resists vibration and dynamic loads better than mechanical anchors. Warning: Allowable pull-out strength is 25% of ultimate values or less, as required by building authorities.

Adhesive Anchor Screen Tubes for Hollow Block and Brick

Used with adhesive in bricks and hollow blocks, such as cinder blocks, these mesh tubes create a stronger hold for rods and studs than other anchors. To install, first fill tubes with adhesive (sold separately) and press them into a drilled hole. Hold tubes in place by pressing the tab against your block, and insert a rod into them. The rod will push the adhesive out of the mesh screen, forming a plug that keeps the rod in place once the adhesive dries.
