Chemical-Resistant Slippery Sheets and Bars Made from Teflon® PTFE

Made with Teflon® PTFE resins, these sheets and bars surpass most plastics when it comes to chemical resistance and performance in extreme temperatures. In addition to resisting most solvents, they are excellent electrical insulators. They're easy to machine and have a naturally slippery surface that makes them a good choice for bearings, gears, and parts that slide and roll.

Sheets and bars with an etched texture have one side that is scuffed to readily accept adhesive; the other side is smooth and is made of FDA listed material.

Skived sheets and bars are more likely to curl than molded sheets and bars.

Chemical-Resistant Slippery Film Made from Teflon® PTFE

This film is made with virgin Teflon® PTFE resins. It can handle extreme temperatures and resists most solvents. It’s also an excellent electrical insulator. PTFE has a naturally slippery surface that allows objects to easily slide across it. This film is skived, so the edges may curl.

Multipurpose 6061 Aluminum Sheets and Bars

The most widely used aluminum, 6061 is fabricated into everything from pipe fittings and containers to automotive and aerospace parts. It is strong and corrosion resistant, plus it's easy to machine and weld.

Cold-rolled foil, sheets, and bars are cut from large pieces to the widths and lengths listed, so the edges may not be parallel.

Extruded sheets and bars are formed by a die for close-tolerance widths, then cut to the lengths listed.

Aluminum that meets ASTM B209 or ASTM B221 complies with standards for materials.

Aluminum that meets an SAE AMS standard conforms to the material and process needs of the aerospace industry.
