Harsh Environment Ethernet Switches

For use in harsh environments, these IP67 rated switches are protected from temporary submersion, and can withstand a wide temperature range. The D-coded micro M12 connections screw together and remain secure in high-vibration applications. Use them to expand your data network by connecting computers, printers, and servers.

Compact Programmable Logic Controllers
Smaller than other PLCs, these controllers save space in your control cabinet. They combine the functionality of a relay, timer relay, and switch in one unit, so you can program simple automation jobs. All have two types of delayed start (delay-on-make) and two types of delayed switch-off (delay-on-break) timing functions. They have passed strict U.S. and Canadian safety standards, and they’re IP20, which prevents fingers and other objects from making contact with live circuits. Mount them to a 35-mm DIN rail.
Controllers with a display make it easy to monitor or modify your system directly on the unit. Controllers without a display eliminate the risk of accidental adjustments while toggling through information or tampering by unauthorized users.
Program these controllers by connecting them to a computer and installing the required software (sold separately). After the initial programming, these controllers can be updated remotely by a human-machine interface (HMI) or computer.

USB Hubs

Connect additional USB ports to your computer. These hubs can run off a computer’s power. USB ports are backward compatible, so they work with cords and connectors that meet the same or a lower USB standard.
Hubs with connections that meet USB standard 2.0 allow for transmission speeds of up to 480 Mbps.
Hubs with connections that meet USB standard 3.1 Gen 1 or USB standard 3.2 Gen 1 allow for transmission speeds of up to 5 Gbps. Those with audio/data/video applications have one connection each for DisplayPort, HD15, and HDMI cables, so you can connect your computer or laptop to up to three monitors. Mac OS devices will only extend data to one monitor; the other monitors will mirror data from the first. To protect against theft, these hubs also accept your computer’s security cable.

Data Connector Strain Relief Boots

Protect RJ45 connectors on Ethernet cables from strain when cables are pulled and bumped. These boots have a tab that helps prevent snags when you’re routing cords through tight spaces. The tab also guards the plastic clip on connectors, so the clip won’t break off during cable installation.
Smoke Detectors for HVAC Systems

Detect the presence of smoke in ducts and shut down HVAC units to avoid circulation. These sensors and controllers have standard RJ45 connections, so they work with most alarm systems and quickly snap in without needing to connect individual wires to terminals. UL and C-UL listed as well as FM and MEA approved, they meet strict safety standards. Choose from a sensor, controller, or sensor and controller unit.
Sensors measure rapid changes in air flow from smoke and fire but won’t register dust and debris, so they won’t cause a false alarm.
Controllers send signals from your sensor to a fire alarm control panel, which closes HVAC dampers when smoke is detected. Controllers can be installed up to 15 ft. away from your sensors and connected with cable. Connect up to two sensors per controller to monitor two sections of ductwork.
Sensor and controller units come with one controller and one sensor. Connect another sensor to cover another spot in your HVAC system.
Sensors require sampling tubes (sold separately) to bring in air from the duct. Mount the sampling tube inside the duct and connect it to the sensor on the outside of the duct by drilling a hole with the included template. For duct up to 36" wide, the sampling tube’s length should be 2/3 the width of the duct.
If your smoke detectors are hard to access, use remote test stations (sold separately) to check that they’re working properly from a convenient location.
Products cannot be sold to Canada due to import regulations.

Check that your HVAC smoke detector is working properly. Wire these test stations to your smoke detector controller to test difficult to access smoke detectors from a convenient location. Indicator lights show if your smoke detector is powered on, if it senses smoke, and if its sensors are too dirty to detect smoke and need cleaning. These test stations activate with the turn of a key so you don’t turn them on by accident.
