Pilot Tip
Hex with Pilot Recess
Turn fasteners from either end and reach into tight spots.
Use DIN 6911 L-keys to tighten DIN 6912 screws in difficult-to-reach areas with just one hand. These L-keys have an extended tip that fits into the matching recess on DIN 6912 screws for a tight hold. However, they won’t work well with conventional socket screws. A zinc plating on these L-keys protects the steel under it from rust, extending the life of the tool.
