2.36" Fans | McMaster-Carr

Running on 48V DC power or lower, these compact fans fit inside electronics and other small, heat-sensitive equipment to keep things cool. They're also known as muffin fans. Some meet American and Canadian safety standards.

Ball Bearing—Fans with ball bearings generate less heat as they run, so they have a longer life than fans with plain bearings.

Plain Bearing—Fans with plain bearings are good for less demanding applications, such as cooling prototypes or parts that aren’t used often.

Hazardous Location Equipment-Cooling Fans

Safely cool electronics and equipment where explosive gases could be present due to equipment failure. ATEX certified, these fans meet European standards for hazardous locations. They’re also IP rated, so they seal out dust and are protected from water if briefly submersed. All have ball bearings that decrease noise for quiet operation.
